This was full when we planned out trip, but we did drive through and check it out. The tent cabins are close, kind of like in a tight trailer park. However, they were clean and it seemed like an adventure to visit. I was able to look inside of one, taking the custodial staff by surprise. I understand there are...

Loved the great view and cozy, casual atmosphere of Half Dome Village: spectacular scenes of Half Dome and surrounding cliffs, rugged wooden cabins and antique stone structures next to plentiful white tents, warm front office and dining areas (where wifi worked well too) - all within walking distance. Our 3 night stay at the historic Stoneman House (were given an...

Half Dome Village is a great spot for many different levels of campers. We stayed in a heated tent and man, that heater was worth the extra few dollars. The arrangements are basic but they have what you need. Not somewhere to stay easily if you don’t want to explore, but with most people having travelled from all over the...

Such an amazing area to stay in, you are literally at the bottom of Glacier Point and the surroundings are lush. We stayed during independence day weekend and the traffic was horrendous so was great to be able to access the main trails without having to drive anywhere. But you really do pay for the privilege, over £100 a night...

The common areas are good- a nice enough cafeteria and divining hall, store for camping supplies, and a gift shop that has good essentials (and great souvenirs). The "lodge" building is the only place with internet access, so it's basically just a giant room of people on their phones. The pitch around the lodge is cute though. My complaint is...

Had a very cozy stay toward the end of december. It was 10 Degrees F throughout the night, and I didn't feel a bit of it. Not all of the tents are heated so be aware when booking. I really enjoyed the camping feel of it, so if you're not about the minimalist feel of things i wouldn't recommend this....

Spectacular location. We stayed in a double, 2 twin tent. Expensive. Tents packed together, so could hear a crying baby. Being in the village puts you steps away from the guest lounge (wifi, seating, fireplace) and the village main building (pizza and other food, TV, tables, beer). You can use the bathrooms in the village building if you dare not...

Hundreds of tent cabins in this village. Formerly called Curry Village. The tents are comfortable though a little spartan. Cabin was heated, which provided plenty of heat although it was in the 20s outside. No food in the tents. Bear boxes outside for food. Small towels provided. Bedding too, but sleeping bag is a good idea. Shared bathrooms with flush...

The cabins are basic (as you would expect) but very clean and comfortable. We struggled with toilets as two of the blocks were closed, so it was a bit of a mission to find an open one (even with the map). There were queues of course with everyone using reduced facilities. I was a bit naive and very surprised by...

We stayed over Christmas in a cabin with 2 x double bed & bathroom with our two boys 14 & 12 y/o. We found the cabin cosy, warm and great to have our own bathroom - felt for this sharing as it's so cold. I would recommend this room, its basic but comfortable. Food at the pizza place was ok...
