First, if you are thinking about coming to Wakatobi please understand that it's a dive resort. There's not much to do other than dive, the emphasis is on diving, and pretty much 95% of the people will be there for the diving. You can snorkel, for sure. And hang around and relax, etc. But it would be like going to... More

Well organized, really well thought out attention to details, you won't want for anything. The resort has been given a lot of thought and care. Each bungalow is separate with its own lanai and outside lounge area. Rooms are spacious with tea kettles, fans, air conditioning, desk, and chairs. If you want anything, all you have to do is ask.... More

We flew from San Francisco to Bali and stayed for a few days at the Four Seasons there prior to flying on to Wakatobi. While the Four Seasons was great I have to say that Wakatobi Resort scored higher for me hands down! The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the diving was amazing. I can say that... More

This dive resort cannot be faulted. It is a very well run operation from the time you land. My son and I had a villa which included a private dive guide, Uno. He was an absolute superstar and nothing was a problem for him, or for anyone else at the resort for that matter. The team in the restaurant was... More

My daughter and me made a trip to wakatobi in June 2014. It will probably be one of the most memorable holidays we have taken. I don't where to begin but the entire experience of wakatobi is special. From the day we landed in Bali the previous day to the departure to wakatobi and we were escorted VIP service out... More

The customer service at Wakatobi is absolutely first rate. The resort representatives help you check into the charter flight, the service in the restaurant is both efficeint (almost too efficient as one is asked a bit too often if you are finished with whatever dish you are eating) and extremely friendly. The entire staff knows you by name and always... More

Book a dive trip in Wakatobi liveaboard Pelagian for my Easter Holidays. Was looking for it for nearly 2 years. From the pick up in Bali Airport to the arrival on the boat it at been 100% truly a 5 stars service. On the boat except a little disconfort when the boat was moving and because the room was just... Wakatobi lives up to the hype. Expect superlative customer service and the best house reef ever. Dive the house reef at least twice. Ask to do a fluorescent night dive. Once you land at the airport...expect a short car trip...climbing down stairs to get to a boat and possibly a second boat transfer. Basically don't wear high heels on the... More

From meeting you at the airport to help with immigration and luggage to bringing you back for your return home, this is truly a class operation. I have traveled extensively to dive destination around the world and this operation stands head and shoulders above all of them. Diving was spectacular, meals were gourmet, and the staff very attentive. I cannot... More
