This hotel really is one of a kind. Your body and mind can be stimulated by a program that includes esoterica like hydro yoga and foot massage as well as the more conventional aquarobics. The breakfast and dinner buffets are almost as remarkable in taste as they are in appearance. We particularly enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi. The rooms are comfortable without unnecessary luxury and the showers are so good that one does not regret the absence of a bath. We thank Mounira who was particularly helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay but all the staff are friendly and supportive when you get their attention.

We arrived for a 2 night weekend stay. We took rooms that had their own deck area and a lounge seating area. The views were fantastic, over the Carmel forest and down to the sea.

Breakfast has a great high quality selection, which main dishes and drinks ordered from a menu and brought to your table.

The hotel has extensive manicured grounds with seating areas dotted throughout. It was amazing to be able to wander around, as well as sit by the outdoor pool.

The indoor pool and spa are well maintained, although seating by the indoor pool is limited and there is only one jacuzzi. The spa offers lots of treatments by seasoned professionals.

Dinner offered a limited, but well thought through menu, delivering high quality, well presented dishes. The main course and dessert are served, whereas the first course is a buffet.

Check-in and out is well handled.

We have been to the Carmel Forest Spa many times in the last 20 years. But we had to regretfully conclude that compared with our stay a year ago, the facility is deteriorating. The grounds are still secluded and magnificent. The swimming pools are still excellent. But key features are definitely on the skids. For one thing, the rooms are lacking items of furniture like desks and couches we remember from similar rooms are missing. Worse the quality and variety of breakfast and dinner are not what they were. A few years ago I would have proclaimed the Israeli breakfast to be the best of any hotel in the country. No longer. Its not bad but no longer great. And the spa treatments, once famed are now mediocre. Many newer hotels can equal or surpass them, often at far less cost. It looks like some beancounter is trying to cut expenses at the cost of quality. And quality is the only way the Carmel can justify its high prices. Wake up Isrotel.

I recently took a group from work to Yaarot Hacarmel and couldn't have been more disappointed. Indeed, the grounds are lovely and the spa was top notch, but I'll be honest, I have heard of it for years but never thought it sounded worthwhile for the exorbitant price, and only considered it now because if Covid travel restrictions. For the cost of one night and one massage per employee, our coworkers who utilized the travel allowance before Corona flew to Italy and took a 4 day all inclusive cruise. Here, in addition to the very tired looking rooms (furniture with peeling paint and carpets that looked like they used to have meals eaten on them in a tent) the service was appalling. The wait in line at check in was over half an hour long, in the dining room we asked repeatedly for coffee from multiple waiters and when none came we approached a very cranky barista who threw things around, scowled at us, and ultimately, also failed to give us any coffee. The live music at the bar was awful and the "cocktails" were embarrassingly amateurish. The kind of thing you'd expect from a beach side shack, not an exclusive hotel. The food at dinner was good, but breakfast was standard at best. Overall it was just another hotel, certainly not on par with the King David, not in service, food, or accommodation. For all the money we spent, nothing was thrown in, nothing about it felt luxurious or pampering in any way, even for a group spending over 30 thousand shekels. Really underwhelming, it felt like they really took advantage of people who can't travel. Next time, let's hope we can go to Italy.

Hotel is nice but way overpriced. One would expect more fine details for a hotel which is among the most expensive in Israel. The room was smaller than we expected. We ordered dinner as well to be included in the room only to find out that the glass of wine was an additional cost...for a fancy and pricy hotel one would expect that the wine will be included.

We recently spent two nights at Yaarot Hacarmel. We were with friends and booked 2 rooms. Despite Covid and the respect of all the safety rules we had a fantastic stay.
Our rooms were nicely decorated with a beautiful view on the gardens, the swimming pool and the Carmel landscape up to the Mediterranean sea.
The swimming pool and its area are beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the snack bar and also the delicious 3 courses lunch at the restaurant. We also enjoyed the evening tennis activities. We had very good diners with an open buffet, a good choice of main dishes menu. The service was perfect, people helpful and promptly available as needed.
It happens we had a medical urgency and under these circonstances the hotel leadership have been absolutely fantastic. They took over all the required steps to get this situation perfectly handled. We would like to mention a very special thanks to Mrs Munira Saloum, Public Relations Manager. She never left us, supporting, helping in very unique and much appreciated way. Thanks a lot Munira!

Let me start off to say this is one of the most beautiful places in Israel, Maybe the Mideast. The Carmel Forest is pristine, quiet and the view is spectacular. The Hotel has an interesting History and is a marvel of Modern Mid Century Architecture.
From Check in to Check out the service was just Bad. I've stayed in Hotels all over Israel and I'm Not expecting "American" Standards or Service., But when Isrotel advertises a 5 star Hotel and Restaurants and I quote:
" specializes in gourmet food that emphasizes health, using the freshest seasonal ingredients and advanced cooking techniques to create culinary masterpieces."
is more than an exaggeration ! the food was very average and far below any farm to table or organic restaurant in Europe or the US. We enjoyed our days at the pool , quiet and sunny with a breeze, but the service was non existent . when I asked for a juice for my wife , the waiters all began to talk to each other and then called the manager serval times to make sure of G-ds knows what???? we Gave up on asking for anything and enjoyed the Sun and the cool breeze. This is a beautiful place but NOT 5 Star. The rooms start at about $500.00 per night which is normal in for Israel 5 star Hotel . If your looking for a unique experience, beautiful scenery and spa treatments . This is a nice place , but be self sufficient , don't expect anything from the Hotel staff or management.

We syayed for a long weekend and it was a wonderful  experience from start to finish
The best thing about this hotel is the service the staff are friendly accommodating and polite. Hotel rules are kept politely but assertively for the benefit of the other guests

Facilities are beautiful with old world charm. I especially liked walking in the manicured garden with little stone fountains, so relaxing. .
There is the indoor and outdoor swimming pools which are clean and not too busy.
I had a facial and body treatments they were all done by professional and kind ladies. I would like to especially mention Natifa, a  such  she genuinely loves taking care of people and is warm and professional.
The food is unbelievable. Especially the many different salads. The food at dinner doesn't fall from thw best restaurants we've been to in Israel and the world
We were however a bit underwhelmed by the movie in the evening. Usually the evening entertainment is much more interesting and unique.

All and all a great relaxing experience and we will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful time. The hotels renovations of the room was very successful. Our room was spotlessly clean and well stocked. The food in the dining room was for the most part delicious and pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately the hot dishes often came to the table cold. I also think the hotel has to age their steaks as when they were served to us on two separate occasions they were too chewy to eat.

The Carmel forest Hotel is quite simply- excellent. First of all, the isolated surroundings, situated in a lush forest, gives the feeling of serenity. Secondly, the grounds, which are also green and spacious, are beautiful. We spent three nights there in a room with a terrace (504), which was also special because you could relax outside with a gorgeous view, undisturbed. The hotel dis now allow entry to children under 18, thus making it quieter than most, especially in the summer. The room had a sitting area and a sleeping area, a large bathroom, and included a small fridge and nespresso machine. there is a very comfortable bed and choice of pillows from a menu. Everything about the hotel made us feel cared for and pampered. It started even before we arrived, when someone called to find out, in advance, if we had any special needs, dietary or other. Since my husband told them we were coming for my birthday, they left us a bottle of wine and fresh dates, besides the daily bottles of mineral water. The food was excellent, and they really do cater to any and every special need. When after the first day, I was lacking in some products I could eat, I got a phone call from the dietitian, Michal Lang, who had a long conversation with me to make sure that everything would be worked out. Which it was. Before we left the hotel, she called again to make sure I had been satisfied. The service from all the staff was exceptional. The spa is marvelous ( though the treatments are very expensive), the two pools beautifully clean. There was a very interesting art exhibition spread out over the entire building and grounds, and even a very professional catalogue with it. All in all, it was a fabulous experience.

Hi Laura Special is a matter of definition. Me and my husband enjoyed this hotel a lot. The calm landscape, the hotel itself, the food and service and the absence of kids 😉 made this vacation very special and calm. The current weather is great. It is not unusual that hotels don’t allow just one night but on my opinion this hotel worth it. Congratulations on your anniversary 🎂🥂
