Easy to get to from the main Nairobi - Nakuru road. Rooms are excellently maintained and furnished to a very high standard. Situated on a hillside overlooking a vast stretch of open land and Lake Elementaita. Meals are also of very high quality. Wildlife is not as extensive as in some of the major reserves but this is a great...

The drive from the Soysambu gate off the Nakuru Nairobi highway was pleasant and not as terrible as I'd feared. It's worthwhile taking a raised car but not necessarily a 4X4. On arrival at the lodge, we were greeted by one of the most amazing views of I've experienced. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly though the...

We stayed with a group of friends at the lodge and were welcomed by the owner Jacqueline and the friendly staff. The cook was amazing, we were really happy with the all inclusive option. Very nice room with a private terrace overlooking the crater and the lake, breathtaking view. Very nice lounge area where we played cards by the chimney,...

It was raining so the road we chose from Kikopey was quite tricky with the 4x4 slipping and sliding all over the place, but quite an adventure for the kids! We chose to stay at the camp instead of the lodge and the tented rooms were very spacious with a beautiful view! The best part was the service which was...

This is the first time I've ever felt motivated to write a tripadviser review - and I do so as this place is so nearly very special. The good things first - the view is wonderful, the design of the rooms is great, there's a great swimming pool and the friendly staff do their best to be very accommodating. However,...

One of the best place in Kenya to rest and meditate with a view to die for. The staff are very attentive and helpful and have provided first class service. I went there with a friend who was visiting Kenya for the first time and she fell in love. The food is excellent and healthy and the facility is quite...

The Lodge is reached by a very bumpy road which just adds to the experience, charm & location. Staff from the outset were very welcoming & friendly. This attitude of helpfulness continued throughout our 5 night stay with an aim to satisfy our every need. Our cottage(Cordon Bleu) was the closest to the main reception/dining area & had magnificient views over...
