Despite being in a prime location i.e town center, The hotel experience is not impressive at all. From 'not so clean' washrooms, to worn out bedsheets, I was not impressed at all... and oh, their internet does not function at all

Did the job as a roof over one's head, but for the price ($30 for a double room), I'd expect a bit more. The room was clean enough, but cramped. The wiring on the shower looked pretty dangerous (and would almost certainly be illegal in the EU). The temperature couldn't be adjusted (but luckily was mostly OK for us). The...

There was a time the Ibis chain was a reputable bed and breakfast option but not any more. All their properties (Nyeri,Karatina and Nanyuki) have been neglected and are in need of major refurbishment. The rooms are too basic and the showers rarely work properly.Food is not up to standard, cleanliness is wanting.Basically nothing to write home about.

I love this place ... The rooms are affordable the food is amazing and you get wifi. If you're looking for a room for one or two nights you should pass by. Tip: the Fish fillet and samosas are delicious.

There is a branch of Ibis in Karatina. The rooms have poorly flowing shower water. The water heater does not work and the water is ice cold. They do not provide soap in the roooms and the receptionist is always AWOL.The TVs in the rooms are analogue and even then, they rarely get the signal. There is an inhouse disco...

Spent two weeks while on holiday, in October 2014. It was the epicentre of all my trips off and back to attraction sites of around Mt . Kenya laikipia and northern parts of Kenyan. I enjoyed Nanyuki's cool and homily town.

We got here pretty late, had no prior bookings but we got assisted fast. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean and quiet. We got secure parking at the hotels basement parking bay which was a plus. Breakfast was OK though the lady serving us kept forgetting to bring tea as requested apart from that. The general feeling was...

Rooms are clean and quite quiet. The food was good and very reasonably priced. For those with vehicles, the free parking under the building is very secure. The location is good, it's close to Nakumat and very close to many vehicle repair places if that is your reason for stopping in Nanyuki?
