The traditionally Hut designed rooms are clean and modern on the inside. The night was comfortable and relaxing and the cost per night was affordable when compared to nearby facilities. The common areas - dining, bar etc were cosy! I will definitely return after a nice stay.

Stayed for one night with our two boys. Our room was comfortable and clean. But they should have a better shower head. sinks could do with mixers instead of a hot water tap and a cold water one. Food was ok, were disappointed as they couldn't make the pizza we ordered and asked us to change to a different one,...

The place is nice, cozy and quiet. Its is a few meters from the town and just on the main road. You cant miss it. We stayed in one of the rooms and not the cottages. Despite the cold (We are from Nairobi, not used to the cold in Mount Kenya), the place is really good. Only need to be...

For my birthday last year, my husband and our 3 children stayed here for 4 nights. This current Nanyuki trip we decided to explore a different hotel. Having our memories of the Kongoni heated swimming pool, we paid them a visit for lunch and a swim. We were charged 300 KSH per child and 500 KSH for my husband who...

Just off the main road into Nanyuki this tented camp gave us welcome respite from the bush. The Banda cottage I had was superb - it had everything I needed including a large headed electric shower and a comfortable bed with drop down mosquito nets. The food was excellent and, as a previous review said the pizzas magnificent. All the...

Kongoni camp is an excellent get away located on the main Nanyuki - Timau road. I found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and the food was excellent. I will definitely be coming back to Kongoni again.

Great rooms, fantastic food, but what makes this place stand out are the outstanding staff - from the restaurant team to the house keeping to the guards at the gates and parking area (the night guards were particularly friendly and always smiling). I really do believe that the team that works here are some of the best I have ever...

Very nice restaurant and bar just outside of town. Very good ambiance, enhanced by excellent service. Food was good, although a little pricey. Hotel rooms look nice, but pretty basic. Overall area is excellent including a clean, reasonably sized pool, and some nice lighted outdoor seating. Very secure area. Recommended.

My family and I spent Christmas 2015 at Kongoni Camp. A fabulous hotel in Nanyuki. The staff are friendly and courteous. The food has always been excellent right from breakfast to dinner. The pizzas are very very good. Since last time they have added a heated swimming pool. The rooms were good though house keeping can certainly do a better...
