We arrived here after a few days hiking and were very happy when we got there, the main building is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and top quality. All the staff were very friendly and we found cold beer and excellent Gin and Tonics plentiful. The pool was a bit cold, but just what I needed after a long...

Spent a night at Sweetwaters in August 2016, Great place, one can just sit and watch the animals coming to the lake, absolutely worth it. The safari ride was my introduction for my stay in Kenya, and the night safari was worth the money. Would love to come back again. And the food.... was amazing. Did not get much time...

I love Serena Properties! My family and I spent 2 nights at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp and experienced the worst service ever, especially with the room service, housekeeping and waiters. The deluxe rooms are nice with amazing views of the conversancy and animals, but the level of hygiene in the rooms was pathetic. They did not bother to take away dirty towels or...

My friend booked a night away at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp on recommendation from friends. This trip was my treat during my holiday to Kenya. We drove from Nairobi which took a good four hours and arrived mid afternoon. As we drove on to the conservancy we were waved through the gate and continued onwards..... about half a mile up...

I'm no expert on Kenyan safari camps, but I have visited three and found them all to be quite different and excellent in their own way. Sweetwaters was the first I visited and it created an indelible impression. Chances are that you will visit Sweetwaters as part of a small tour group and the choice of safari camps will be...

In Kenya for 6 days with work but managed to build in a half day of freedom. Was recommended the Serena camp and it was fantastic. Ok, the entry to the park can be expensive ($85) but it will be worth it. Stayed for one night full board and went on an afternoon 'drive' (4500 Kenyan schillings). Very quiet at...

If there was a place to leave 10 STARS this would be it!!! We had three very rare days off here and the staff went above and beyond to make it perfect for us. The food was amazing. We stayed at the Sweetwater Camp as a part of our pre-trip to Kenya and Tanzania. The stay was wonderful. Where else can you see zebras, gazelles, birds, and even a rhino by just sitting on your porch. We saw both black and white rhinos on each of our three game drives. I really appreciated that there were no phones,...

A good experience starts with the people working there and Sweetwater has the friendliest, most helpful and attentive staff one could hope to find! The game drives are wonderful because there is such an abundance of animals here. Last night five elephants of varying sizes entertained us when they came to drink at the water hole, right outside the dining...
