This place has a quaint, relaxed character that oozes charm. The rooms have a simple but warm rustic character, and are very comfortable. The management were very relaxed about allowing us to keep our backpacks at the hotel before check-in and after check-out.

Pretty comfortable guesthouse with decent facilities. Some of the plumbing in the bathroom was a bit sketchy but other than that it was a pretty good place to stay. Breakfast isn't included at the guesthouse but there's a few little places nearby that do breakfast at a low price. Short walk to all the major places in town, but Vang...

The guesthouse itself are not that bad, but because of the staff it is getting a bad recommendation from us. We simply just asked about the wifi password the night we got there, and he sighed and was so rude. I read another comment on this guesthouse saying that they only care about the money, and we agree. It also...

The guesthouse is great. Clean, spacious and not expensive and also very attentive with booking busses or tours. The reason I'm rating low is because of rude people staying here, slamming the doors in the hallways, smoking in the hallways getting the smell in our rooms and having drunk loud conversations. This hallway has great accoustics, so every sound gets...

Guest house stroke backpacker accommodation. Its very handily located for shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The walls are a little thin, you can hear what your neighbours are chatting about. The rooms are large, and we had a room with a view of the hills.

There are 3 different buildings in the Khamphone guesthouse and the price and options do vary. Stayed in the newer main building where reception is. Room with AC and TV was basic but clean. Bathroom is normal south east asia "wet" type which was also clean. WIFI did not work all of the time but that is normal for budget...

I stayed at Khamphone Guesthouse as part of an Intrepid trip and it was adequate. We stayed in the new building, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was good. The shower was away from the toilet. The biggest downside to staying here is the indifferent service from the family who run it and the shiney tiles that are incredibly...

I arrived in VV without a place booked. Looked at a few places and ended up checking out Khamphone. As a solo traveller, I'm used to bargaining for rooms... without going over the top. I settled on around $8 US per night. After a few mins haggling I eventually struck a deal. However, this conversation seemed to have been noted...

Simple rooms, clean beds and common areas but not practical bathrooms (shower over the toilet). The free WiFi worked occasionally. Free tea & (instant) coffee. Guesthouse is close to cafes for breakfast, river, hire places for day outings and massage/beauty places.
