It makes me sick to know that there are places of accommodation that have bed bug problems yet don't take the problem seriously. My friend and I had stayed in a triple room upstairs and were fine for the first couple nights until I noticed that I had gotten over 10 bites in less than half an hour one evening....

this place is dirty, no ac, just fans. beds uncomfortable, bathrooms falling apart. although not too much choice in hostels or in VV, there are better than this. its noisy all throughout the day/night. food is nothing special. pans desperately needs an upgrade.

Went to stay here for 2-3 nights but the atmosphere was just incredibly fantastic and ended up staying for 7 nights! Pierce who runs the reception definitely have an invitation to my wedding. If you're going to Vang Vieng and decide to stay elsewhere you will definitely regret your decision as there is no place like this on earth. All...

Pierce could not have been more accommodating, helpful and patient with this delirious and fatigued traveller. Neil was an absolute gent. The food here is the best hostel-restaurant food I've had. Try the French toast, you won't regret it. Also, the wonderwall of information is a handy answer-most-questions kinda place. Our room was small but perfectly formed, comfy beds, hammock...

We stayed in Pan's Place for two days in a very little double room. Quality/price good. The toilet was little and not so comfortable, during the night my friend woke up with a giant bug on her leg, probably because the moskito's net on the window had a big hole. Not so cool.

Stayed here for 3 days, helpful hostel re tubing, nightlife info, sorting you out with buses to your next destination. We had a triple room for dirt cheap! You get what you pay for and unfortunately that includes no air con, SO HOT! The shower wasn't the best either, just a small shower head you had to hold. Was a...

We ate breakfast here rather than the skanky guest house we were staying at. Great food and coffee, good choice for kids, lots of comfort food. We booked our bus out of VV and they provided pickup at no extra cost. Awesome people, super friendly.

We stayed in pans place for longer than expected due to the Vietnamese holiday. The hostel was clean and the owners are nice and friendly. This place is great for meeting new people as everyone socialises in the back area where there are hammocks and places to chill. Its always lively in this hostel! One recommendation I must give is...

Fun hostel with a nice restaurant (the baguettes are legit!) Good place to meet new friends and it has a good location. We stayed in a double room and it was fine for the price. We did had a lot of ants in our room, just keep your bag of the ground and you'll be fine.

Off beat hostel in 'tubing town.' Friendly, laid back staff catering for a younger party crowd. Glorious views of the beautiful surrounding countryside from the café terrace. Rooms basic, but clean, but with no air conditioning. Mattresses on the floor, but still a good deal for the budget traveller. Area at the back has hammocks and couches and plenty of...
