Came back since our last visit in nov 2011. Everything still same. Nice friendly owner. Clean rooms. Now that the party scene in VV stoped it is also verry quit during night time. Hotel now haves also own restaurant for a good breakfast. For 150k per night you cant go wrong on this one.

I really wanted to like this place... the staff are nice, the breakfast in the restaurant is decently priced and proportioned, and the rooms are spacious and clean for the most part. Unfortunately our belongings were infested with ants and there is mold in A/C and bathroom fan which made us sick. It seems as they do a good job...

I found the Phou Ang Kham 2 Hotel, to be very friendly and central. The rooms are pretty much a standard hotel room, with a Quality Queen size bed and western style ensuite. The room prices are competitive with Vang Vieng Hotels. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen in Asia and was very tasty. There is...

My family stayed here in February 2015 on arrival they informed us they couldn't accommodate us for the 3rd night of our stay, no apologies, no alternate accommodation arranged. We had been booked into this hotel for over 6 months they had plenty of time to let us know and as it was Chinese new year no one in town...

Stayed with friends, during the Rocket festival for a couple of nights, decent price for a new and clean hotel. The air conditioning worked very well and we were within walking distance to the main restaurants and bars.

This place is quite hidden, but right in the heart of the town. Handy for the Ausie bar (free beer) across the road, and far enough away from the river / backpacker haunts to be very quiet. Very clean, very well organised and very friendly. Excellent value Quite a gem

We stayed here for a few nights and the owner 'Nee' was very helpful. The rooms are a good size and very clean, AC, comfortable beds and cable TV, also a balcony. The 1st room we were given was very musky smelling in the bathroom so he let us move. The breakfast is ok, none of the staff speak any...

Would recommend... For 100'000 kip it was a great value, however I was disappointed to be booked on a bus out through them that I confirmed twice to have A/C when in fact it did not... Would probably stay again...

This was a hidden gem for Vang Vieng - we spent two nights here whilst doing what 99% of people were there to do; tubing. In the reception area was free tea and coffee, and the free breakfast was pretty tasty too. The room itself was very white and lacking personality, but comfortable and a really peaceful experience away from...

“It was tough to find good reviews of backpackers and hotels in Vang Vieng - this is a safe bet and great value for money. Gary's irish Bar was a great night out and a two minute walk from the hotel.”
