the BeeBee changed hands 4 months ago and is now called Viang Vien Boutique hotel. It is about 1/2 km along the main road, so quiet location and a very pleasant one nights stay. Good sized clean room and bathroom with free toiletries, tea coffee and water and even 2 cans of beerlao in the fridge (to be paid for).... More

We stayed at Beebee Guesthouse (Now called Vang Vieng Boutique Hotel) for 4 nights and it was hard to leave. ;) It is a modern and just renovated hotel, with nice and clean rooms. It is located just a small walk from the centre and has such a beautiful view on the mountains. The bathroom was the best bathroom we've... More

A nice clean and quiet guesthouse that is a five minute walk from the chaos of the main party area. Soviet, the manager, is a very nice and happy host who speaks very good English. He helped with bus bookings and also liked to join us for a quiet beer in the afternoon. Over all I spent 1 week here... More

I moved to BeeBee on my fourth night in Vang Vieng, primarily to escape the noise and chaos in the downtown area. BeeBee is about a 5-7 minute walk from the "center". It is family owned and run. I chose the fan-only option that came to about $6.50/night. The room on the second floor had a wonderful view of the... More

I stayed here a week and it is a good deal. Clean and I had a big room. It is away from the noisy places down at the river and nice breakfast places are close to this guesthouse. The bathroom was thew typical bathroom with the shower spraying the water all over the toilet ( seat)too. But no big problem... More

Arrived in Vang Vieng and had one night booked here at BeeBee as a recommendation from a fellow traveller.  We were fortunate to get a front room overlooking the street, there is a balcony outside the room.  The room was large and bed comfortable.  Shower/toilet typical Lao bathroom meaning shower can  wet the toilet area.  We enjoyed the restaurant in... There is a lot of guesthouses in Vang Vieng, I mean A LOT so I wouldn't say this is the best around for the price but is pretty decent. Normal size room, comfy bed but the covers had a weird smell. The room was equipped with fan and air con even though we didn't use them. Small windows with mosquito... More

As others have said, get a room at the front if you can at all!!!! It's so beautiful to look our at the mountains on the morning or sit out on the balcony reading as the tiny world of Vang Vieng passes by. The staff could be a little friendlier. But, I think it's a matter of language barriers so... More

I suspect that the positive reviews have come from people who failed to check out any other hotels in VV and thought they were getting a bargain for $5 a night. These people are wrong. The hotel is old, run down, the walls are stained after years of backpacker abuse and in serious need of some internal remodeling and a... More

Beebee is right next to pans. We checked their rooms but it was like sleeping on a slab of wood. Stayed here at beebee for 3 nights instead. Very comfy beds, helpful staff, brilliant location, great stay. There is a brilliant cheap delicious shack on the corner across the road too, best pineapple shakes in laos! All it needs is... More
