I stayed here about 7 years ago. Since then the area around the hotel has been developed so the garden and river view had disappeared. The room was 150kip ( about US$20 AUS$25). Clean other than tropical mould in the bathroom. Bed was large and comfortable and the price included air con. Although it's on the southern edge of town...

The receptionist (owner?) is not helpful at all and incredibly unfriendly. The sink in our room had no drain pipe so that the water poured on the bathroom floor. The bed was reasonably clean and there was a little balcony. All in all, the only reason why guests are still going to this guesthouse is that they made it into...

We received a fair Roomrate and as we asked if Breakfast is included they told us that it would cost about 40% of the Roomprize. We wanted to a Look in it next Morning. As we checked in to the Room, really spacious and nice Balcony, we soon realized that the washbasin and the waterheater are not batterned. As we...

From the initial view of the bungalows, I was excited and looking forward to a nice alternative to a hotel. First thing I noticed upon entering the room was a hole in the wall covered with a piece of paper and that the bench below it was barely attached to the wall. We had real problems with the toilets as...

This place is fine for a few nights, the rooms are large, the wifi is good and there is hot water. The outside balconies/veranda are a nice welcome if you want to chill but not be inside to. However as per the other reviews, the staff here are not very friendly and don't really engage with you. Such a shame...

Stayed here during a g adventure tour. Cons: Showers had very little pressure and temperature was hard to control. Bed was very stiff & firm. Staff were not mean but certainly not overly welcoming. Pro:Stayed in the bungalow area, that was nice. Quiet area. Rooms has air con & fans.

Like other similar guesthouses in Laos, it can be much much better but the owener lacks the understanding of what is missing otherwise, it defies our western sense that they don't don't do it. Examples: the water from the pedestal sink go on the floor and to the drain. Why not have a pipe that takes it to the drain?...

The rooms at Le Jardin were nice enough. The beds were tidy and the room were clean. However, there is no wifi in the rooms; but at reception you can find the password for the neighbouring hotel. Seems a bit dodgy. Having already spent some time in Laos, I had learnt the Lao people are generally friendly and welcoming. However,...

Stayed in the bungalows at the Le Jardin Organique. The name makes it sound quite exotic but it's actually pretty ordinary overall and in some aspects poor. Short walk to town and nice hot shower. No river view and staff were unhelpful, verging on rude. Free wi-fi did not work in the bungalows and the bedding had stains and cigarette...
