This hotel is very nice - we wish there were more like this in Myanmar! The location is great, the rooms are small but comfortable. Some of the rooms are quite far from the reception building, although walking through the garden is quite nice. Because of that distance, we only had Wi-Fi in the area near the reception.

We are 3 indonesian backpackers and we stayed in this hotel for 1 night. I love the environtment there. The staff was amazing! They were Friendly, helpful and kind! The breakfast was good (fried eggs and toast with fruits). When you arrived, they welcome you with a glass of juice to take away your tiredness, which is amazing! But, its...

Our experience at 'Thuwunna Bumi Mountain View Resort' started very positively. We were greeted in typical courteous Myanmar style and although the resort was clearly undergoing refurbishment we understood that you can't always be the guests that get the perfect time/stay without upgrades or work going on around you. We were taken to our room which seemed quite close to...

We, a family of 12, stayed here for 2 nights this week. The bungalow rooms were large and clean. The grapefruits were delicious- ask for the white not pink color. The hotel dogs were very friendly. The waiters and bell boys were great! The woman manager (in red/pink) needs some improvement- she promised a masseuse twice and I waited >1.5hrs...

We were getting in from Yangon at 2am so I called the hotel to ensure that it was ok. The person on the phone spoke little english and mentioned they would send a car to fetch us at the bus stop in Kinpun. When we got to Kinpun, we did not see anyone that came to pick us up. Kinpun...

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited the area. If you're looking for a luxury Thailand type of hotel then go elsewhere. If you're seeking a low key, well priced, family friendly, well serviced mountain view hacienda type stay, then Thuwunna Bumi Mountain View Resort is for you. The rooms are large, clean but basic. The beds in...

We had gorgeous looking huts with basic amenities. The view from the ridge at sunset is beautiful. The meals were excellent. Particularly enjoyable was our first taste of the locally grown pomelo (giant citrus fruit). A pleasant walk to the front gate takes you to the main road. We enjoyed watching children in their way to school using a vast...

The hotel is surrounded by vegetable and fruit farm. Very quiet and relax hotel. After a long drive and tours, we can sit down and relax from bungalow to mountain view. The room was so so, nothing special and bathroom too. However we like this hotel
