Was greeted as a platinum member while visiting with my family for a redemption stay for 2 nights. The facilities and ambience was good, and lack of noisy guests in the lobby made it super sweet. I was given a simple upgrade to the pond facing room, and was told that they have not operated their 7th floor club lounge...

Hard to fault anything here really and there's a bar and convenience store just round the corner. Good breakfast range including juices blended to order. Nothing much to do otherwise in this town, home of next winter Olympics.

This hotel is located within the Alpensia ski resort. Due to the Winter Olympic in 2018 in this city, the hotel service was even more upgraded from the check in since the last visit few months ago. Late night check in around 11 pm on Saturday during non-ski season caused a slight delay at the check-in with only one employee,...

I went skiing in Korea for the first time with the family this Chinese New Year and we spent 3 nights at the Intercontinental Alpensia. It was tough to get things organised at first because there were 6 of us and we needed 2 connecting rooms (1 large suite and a deluxe room) with an extra roller bed in each...

Good and confortable hotel - rooms are confortable with a small but nice balcony - the rooms could be renewed according to the rate and also the daily cleaning must be deepen, rooms are dusty ... The main problem is that this huge hotel is not in the main ski station - no shuttles also, you have to take an...

We stayed at the Intercontinental Alpensia last week for my 25th birthday celebration. Our reasoning behind choosing to ski in Alpensia was the upcoming Winter Olympics and that there was an 5* hotel. With this in mind, we had quite high expectations for the service at the Intercontinental, being an international luxury brand in an Olympic Resort. I had been...

Skiing holiday in Pyeong Chang which coincided with my wife's birthday. Decided to try "Flavours". Food was okay and service cold and soulless. We asked for a slice of cake for my wife's Birthday - they were not able to produce in the restaurant had to go to lobby. (That's one star down.. now four stars). The complex offer 10%...

This is a very nice hotel. Our room was spacious and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. Once you are in the room, you would just want to stay in and laze around. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection of food, which were freshly prepared. The staff here were well trained and could communicate in proper English.

It was first time to stay in Alpensia. As an ambassador member, I've stayed many Intercontinental hotels in overseas but I really liked to stayed here even it's one night. I think it was much better experience when I stayed in Intercontinental Tokyo! And the room conditon was perfect :) I definitely want to go there and stay longer !
