This is solely an ayurvedic resort with daily treatments, medicine and some opportunities for relaxation. I went for 2 weeks predominantly for sleeping difficulties, but unfortunately this wasn't fully addressed - i slept just 3 nights out of 14! The hotel itself is set in lovely surroundings and the staff are friendly and helpful. However the regime is very controlled,... More

This is not a hotel. This is a present for your health. A good investment in your wellbeing. They know how to take care of you. Nothing is standard. The food, the treatments etc. are fully tuned to your needs. It is not overdone. There is a harmony in the environment, rooms, treatments, food, etc. They pay attention to everything... More

I found this place on Tripadvisor and went there for a 2 week stay thanks to all good reviews on this site. The place (location, staff, service, attention to detail) has exceeded my expectations. Both me and my mom were very happy with our choice and do hope to be back one day. Location: It is in fact quite amazing.... More

This is my fourth time to Barberyn and I always tell friends it's not a holiday, it's a health retreat. You do come home full of health and vitality having loved the sunshine, the beautiful location, the glorious treatments and the lovely relaxed atmosphere. But even though you will love nearly every minute of your stay, some of the medicines... More

It is a wonderful "hotel", hotel in quotes because you go there for ayurvedic treatments. I would not suggest the hotel for normal holidays. The first time I went there together with my wife, but I learned, it is better for an ayurvedic treatment (at least for me) to be alone. Because not only your body, but also your mind... More

This resort is far superior to the other resort, Barberyn Reef. It is just a step up. I originally booked my trip for medical reasons. I was totally burned out and needed complete rest and relaxation. I originally chose Barberyn Reef because it was closer to the airport (less driving distance after a long flight) and it was right on... More

First off, understand that this is an Ayurvedic treatment facility above all else - it's not a resort or hotel in the normal sense. That said, it's fantastic. The food is amazing and somewhat catered to each individual, in that which you can choose from the amazing buffet for breakfast and lunch, you will also have certain dishes served to... More

We spent two weeks at Barberyn Beach Resort with my 18 year old daughter who was recovering from Glandular fever. The service and kindness of the staff, the clever architecture of the place linking the rooms to the treatment area, the ayurveda treatments done in the most professional way, the restaurant overlooking the area, the swimming pool surrounded by trees,...
