Great location, right on the beach front. Perfect to watch sunset. Italian couple who run the hotel are friendly and helpful. The breakfast however is really bad, (processed sausages etc). The rooms also feel like they need a little tlc. Our room was very noisy in the very early morning - walls are very thin.

I arrived at this hotel late, as I waited for my suitcase to arrive from Little Corn Island on the panga. I was advised that my suitcase would not arrive until 7 am the next morning. Upon arrival at the hotel with a friend from the island that translated for me, I asked for a late exit the next morning...

Spent a few days on Big Corn Island. Gorgeous island and the locals are wonderful. Gianni was nice enough to let me use his computer when I lost my phone. Was not prepared for how thin the walls are but thankfully people generally went to bed early. No midday naps though! I asked one day if it was possible to...

From the outside it doesn't look like much, the "bars" (wooden sticks) along the outside are a little weird but the rooms were amazing, huge rooms with AC, ceiling fans, large bathrooms and the best shower I have had in Nicaragua. They don't have hot water but who really needs it, they have these huge showerheads and the pressure is...

The main building looks a little dated from the outside but inside is great. Our place had beautiful floors, a nice desk, spacious bathroom, giant armoire for clothes, oversized rain head in the shower, fan and AC, plus a big deck with a picnic table. Sorry, forgot to take a photo of the room itself. Gianni is a lovely man...

Rooms were large and mosquito nets were secure. Location was good. Not very well enclosed room, overpriced for what you get. Rooms weren't cleaned. Bed was not the most comfortable. Bicycle rentals were in poor condition.

We had stayed at a different hotel on our way to Little Corn, and it had left us with a not great impression of Big corn. A friend recommended Bella vista and we were lucky enough to get a room on our way back to Managua - it completely changed our view of the island! The owners are a wonderful...

The best things about this place: the husband-wife owners, wonderful Italians who bend over backwards to help you, make you feel comfortable, and feed you authentic, delicious Italian home cooking (lasagne was out of this world & breakfast is simple and yummy). This spot is set on the edge of the best stretch of beach on BC, with sitting areas...

The Bellavista is under new ownership: the owner is fantastic, very engaging and helpful. The rooms are rustic yet extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing. The location is right on a beach and a short walk from town. There is a beautiful swamp within view of some of the rooms, the sounds of the frogs and the crashing surf are amazing....
