I scheduled my visit to La Princesa de la Isla during mid/late November, the end of the “low” tourist season. While my expectations were already high (set by a cousin who has returned to La Princesa several times), the total experience was more enjoyable than I had hoped. BIG CORN ISLAND I anticipated a trade-off of uncertain weather in exchange...

La Princesa de la Isla is a lovely hotel with a wonderful ocean view tucked away a short distance from Corn Island's main dock. The hotel buildings are beautifully designed from local stone, coral and wood are in harmony with the seaside setting. The vibe here is tranquil. The food is fabulous. I enjoyed a dinner that started with fresh...

We stayed for three nights in this superb bed and breakfast. Our room was lovely, extremely clean and large. The location is superb, right on the beach, and the two owners were incredibly helpful. So helpful that when we had a health scare when we were on Little Corn later in our holiday, they were the first we called for...

We have visited this hotel back on 2013 on our honeymoon. Spent an amazing week here. The place run by a super friendly Italian family. They make amazing authentic Italian dishes! The place is safe and nice beaches are quiet close to have a swim. We'd go back there one day for sure!

The Italian family running this rustic hotel are absolutely fantastic, one of the few places on the island that really embody customer service. They are located on the point of the island, and you can sit in peace and watch the gorgeous oceans for hours. Free wifi works only on the patio. The rooms are made of old stone, and...

The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are spacious and nice. I loved the grounds of the hotel, the green grass is very appealing. There is a lot of great spots to read a book and relax on the grounds, but you will have to go to an other beach to have a good swim.

The room was basic but quite spacious (1). We did not find any unpleasant critters and slept well. The deck in front of the room makes noise when you step on it so running dogs and early risers will wake you up in the morning. Sometimes we had hot showers but could not figure out why. We did not swim...

What a wonderful paradise! The rooms are romantic and the hosts are exceptional, and genuine. Delicious food on the beach with the most perfect lighting. Have and will continue to recommend this place. The sunsets are magic. Our favourite place on Big Corn.

We could not have asked for more than the warm Italian hospitality we received at La Princesa de la Isla! Constanza and Alessandro were impeccable hosts, with a joyful disposition which you will find infectious. Alessandro's Italian culinary creations were fantastic and really made our stay memorable. We tried some alternate restaurants for lunch on the island and found La...

We stayed 4 nights in a bungalow - not luxurious (no hot water), but very adequate. It's a quiet, atmospheric, peaceful place (except for the dogs) on the sea shore with exquisite views. The Italian owners are delightful. Fine Italian cooking made a welcome change.
