Stayed overnight in this hotel on route to jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, it is best placed hotel to see Northen lights (if you are lucky) as there is nothing around the hotel not even a single shop. So if you need anything buy it before you reach the place. The hotel was neat and good. The food is very good but very...

It's a pretty bare bones hotel, but there aren't many options in the area (pretty remote). Breakfast was actually surprisingly good and the highlight of our one night stay. Rooms were clean and spacious enough, but definitely nothing fancy. Had this been closer to civilization, it may have been a cheaper stay. It still beats the "fancier" options around it...

Convenient location near the glacier lagoons off the main road. Our room and bathroom was clean. It's a bit out dated but served the purpose for an overnight. We didn't have a chance to have breakfast due to tour timing.. staff was nice and offered sandwiches to go.

We stayed here on our tour with iceland expeditions. the rooms were very clean, and decent showers. The food was good as well. they had some good home made sausages. the rooms were warm, but they had big windows you could open. They also had a cute little lobby with tea.

I stayed there for one night. It was okay, the rooms were decent and the food was good. I think the waiters should more organized. Especially when they are handing out the food to the people. They were kind of all over the place and they forgot to bring some of the orders.

We stayed there for a night during our 3 day 2 nights south coast excursion. The rooms are a tad old but will do the job for you to get a good night's sleep. The rooms are in a different block from the reception and restaurant. The lights in the hallways to the rooms need to be turned on manually...

Stayed for a night as part of a tour group. We arrived late and ravenous. Ordered dinner enroute but they placed us 14 to a long table, which was cramped; could have given us more tables as they have many and there were no other guests. The rooms were ok altho a tad old. We were in a rush to...

This hotel was clean and friendly. They got us up to see the Northern Lights! They had a really good breakfast (best that we had in Iceland). The hotel was reasonably priced. It was a good location for viewing the south eastern area of Iceland.

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour group as the hotel is a short drive from Jokulsarlon. The hotel rooms are located in a separate building from the main lobby, and are very basic. However the pillows are very flat and limp and i woke with a terrific neckache the next morning. Had dinner at the hotel...

We chose this hotel because of its proximity (25 minutes) from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. We drove from Hofn in the pouring rain and followed Google map directions. Beware!! They are incorrect and direct you to go up a steep gravel mountain road. When it says "You have arrived", you are in the middle of a narrow road with no buildings...
