Visited this hotel with a living social deal for lunch. I must say everything was excellent, the food the service and surroundings. Will definitely now book for a short stay there in the Summer. We had a beautifully presented 3 course lunch served by friendly staff.

Set in a woodland estate we were able to relax completely from the moment we arrived. We weren't in the main hall so had a few minutes walk to get there for meals but the staff could not have been more welcoming or efficient and the food was superb. Our room had everything we needed, including a complimentary bottle of...

This was our fourth visit here and the food as always was Fantastic. Our server Helen always remembers us and always delivers excellent custoner service and makes us feel very welcome. My wife started with the mushrooms and cream sauce which she absolutely loved. I had the pea soup which was fabulous. We both had the lamb shank with mash...

Booked through a Travelzoo deal as a 75th birthday treat and treat it was. Set on , he edge of a tiny Northumberland village it is the epitome of peace and quiet. there are lovely gardens and excellent walks in the area but unfortunately the weather was not conducive to wandering outdoors. Indoors, however was just what you expect of...

The hotel had a wonderful relaxed feel. The food both breakfast and dinner were very good with excellent service. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Our dog Hugo was warmly welcomed which allowed us a relaxing break. The only small fault would be that the shower was a disappointment, would have expected a power shower rather than a slow stream!...

Stayed for one night in the grange. We had the meadowsweet room on the ground floor. Large room with a separate seating area. The grange is an adapted house made into 4 rooms. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. We did experience some noise from the room above. Breakfast was good and presentation was excellent although some background music playing in...

Stayed for one night in Peacock Room which had two windows looking onto the walled garden, was light, airy, well furnished and had a lovely spacious bathroom. Both evening meal and breakfast were very nice with good quality ingredients, with attentive staff at both meals, without being intrusive. Dining rooms are very elegant. Very convenient for the Northumberland coast, Alnwick...

My husband a I stayed at Eshott on the 2/4/2016. We were celebrating our anniversary. We both think this hotel is amazing. The food is excellent and front of house and staff are all friendly, pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and intend to return.

We stopped by for lunch. It has a lovely setting and customer service is excellent. £14 gets you a very ordinary hamburger, and you can have fish and ships for a similar cost. The menu is generally uninspiring.

We had room 6 Tedsmore. Large light & airy bathroom with Villeroy & Bosch suite. Wonderful art nouveau stained glass windows. Loved that it had an old fashioned non slip mat for the bath. Had really good quality toilet paper and plenty of storage space for toiletries (even has a window seat). The bedroom had triple aspect windows 2 of...
