Very good 3 stars hotel, run by a friendly family, were very helpful, rooms kept clean, very good breakfast included, very good dinner for a fair price if you like, was worth it. Excellent location, very close to the center and not far from the main road for the bus too.

We arrived in Harlingen on a long weekend and were lucky enough to find the last room in the town. The owner said our room was newly renovated and as it was the last room we could pay €85 with breakfast instead of €90. Bargain. Our room was located along a hall way out the back of the hotel with another 3 rooms. Ours had a queen bed a little soft for me but hubby loved it. LG TV coffee making facilities wifi and a nice bathroom. We hired a hairdryer for a deposit of €10 though no money changed hands. The only window is a skylight above the bed with an electric blind to darken the room but due to the very hot days Holland was experiencing we left the skylight open which meant the church bells were heard by me all night. Breakfast was one of the best we have had this trip even after staying in €200 hotels. Fresh tasty good choices. Nice quiet hotel to sit and read in the bar area also.

Stayed for 2 nights. Working nearby. Harlingen is a pretty little town. The rooms are functional, clean and the bed comfortable. The shower and wifi excellent. Food is good and has Veltins on draft! What's not to like? The staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Large room, not "luxurious" by city standards, but comfortable. Great location in lovely Harlingin. Very accommodating and pleasant staff who volunteered to make reservations for us on the ferry to Vlieland and to deal with our car during the day (see below). Also, we had a truly wonderful fish dinner in the dining room downstairs. (The local Rotary Club was eating the same thing in the next room.) Yum! Here are some tips: 1. The staff either rinses or sprays the bed linens with the European equivalent of Febreeze. If you don't like scented sheets, you might ask them not to do it, preferably before you arrive. 2. Parking requires attention. You must pay 1E for night parking (machine across the street) and if you plan to leave your car on the street all day, you must either "feed the meter" every 4 hours or ask the hotel to handle it for 5E. (That's by far the easiest way!) 3. As in many historic hotels, be prepared to lug your baggage up a steep winding stair.
