Loved it. Beautiful hotel. We are PR residents and had heard good things of this hotel pre hurricane. After renovations we were excited to visit. Water park : we had a really great time nice area for our toddler to play Palomino: beach is gorgeous and it’s a fun experience to get there Room: spacious modern and great view. Had no problems with noise or water temperature. Áreas: lobby is a wow factor when you arrive. They had parrots my toddler loved. Also they have like a family club area. There was basically a dj and children’s dance party. Needless to say my toddler had a blast dancing. They had pool tables and a great coffee spot. Dining: we did bulahoo every breakfast and it was DELICIOUS. Tried the chicken and waffles. And French toast. Love to go back just for such a nice breakfast. Great service too. It’s looking out at the sea so very nice. Note: to get to water park and bulahoo restaurant you must take like a sky liner tram? Don’t know word but has a really great view and it’s a fun experience. Other restaurant we tried at hotel had solid food options. I got the steak “churrasco” cooked a perfect medium just like I asked. Hotel Pool: my husband swears they must be heated it was 9pm and still great to get in. Huge pool and various hot tubs. This hotel is HUGE and has a wonderful pool and nice activities that as a family we would enjoy coming back. Husband got a burger wasn’t blown away but solid.

The first half of the pool was open with one hot tub working. Disco area is destroyed and u can't walk to the beach. U have to take a ferry which u need a reservation and it's a piece of the island. Very rocky and u can barely walk in. We crossed the ropes to go to the other side which was beautiful. They do NOT have there own island. It is a piece. The rocky piece. Coqui water park was a blast kids and parents enjoyed that alot. Daily taxes plus $50 RESORT FEE. I questioned the resort fee since only a piece of 1 pool was working and the water park that u have to take a trolley to was good but the island was not private. No babysitting, no kids amenities except water park, a few pool tables and Skeat ball but not anything really for kids. Very disappointed. Most of the food was good and friendly staff. But u really don't need the staff when u know the 1 pool how to get to the marina. The walls were thin, but overall the room was pretty. It was a complete lie about all the amenities that are offered and available at this time. Disappointed. I just wanted to walk out into the beach and there is none

Thank you for your stay! It seems that we did not met your expectations at all and I do understand it. We have re-open our hotel after the Hurricane María and we are opening up slowly. As of today we do have Palomino Island, Water Park, 2 Pools on the upper level, restaurants, tennis courts, golf among other things. We will continue to open up more attractions as we renovate each areas. Our sincere apologies,

This is a large, elegant hotel with lots to do! My real rating is 4.7...very close to 5. There are so many nice things to mention: the wow when you first walk in to this hotel, the beautiful decor - and already decorated for the holidays, the very kind and friendly staff, the talking parrots near the lobby, shops, coffee cafe, and many restaurants to choose from (the menus got upgraded while we were here). The spacious rooms have lovely views, very clean. There are many pools that are immaculate with drink service, and a ferry to their private island for the beach. Beach has wait service for an excellent lunch cooked on outdoor grills- also drinks, towels, chairs, and umbrellas there. The water park is new, clean, and lots of fun for kids and adults -- our 8 yr old had a blast! (there is a casual restaurant there too). The restaurants are above average now that they changed the menus to include more interesting fare. Soon they will have their concierge back, they are quickly getting everything up to speed for in-season. I am writing this long review because I would have liked these details when I booked this trip!! This is an excellent place for families, and you do need a car if you want to go elsewhere in the area.
