Very friendly service, very communicative (including by text), and great facility. I visited with my 8 year old son who loved the huge pool, in-pool basketball hoop, and the grounds. The location works really well if want to access beaches on the east coast or want to make a day trip to Culebra or Vieques - I would recommend having a car there. Loved walking out onto balcony to see the sunrise.
The property is very nice with a great pool (the big one) and with friendly staff. Mid September and there was almost no one else there - sounds great, but that also meant that the restaurant was very limited, the pool bar never opened, and it just felt odd. The breakfast restaurant didn't have parts of the menu and staffing was an issue. Room amenities were odd, but the front desk had additional items (like a hair dryer!). Felt a little nickeled and dimed with having to pay for ice and coffee in the lobby. A little bit of a quirky place that felt weird being that empty.
Had a emergency and needed a room for my family. Same day room was available and one room needed to be cancelled because my 5 year old niece wasn’t vaccinated! They were denied room and have yet to refund me for a room that was not used and cancelled within 10 mins! Stay away! No one calls back! No accounting personnel, manager, gm, etc! Then they give you attitude and lie about no one on-site! Terrible!
Still great ac, water pressure and comfortable rooms Horrible check in process that leaves you outside in the heat, swapping mosquitoes. No, the staff is still stuck in Covid and won’t let you into the lobby. Add to that, a 30 minute check in signing endless paperwork and yes, strapping a wristband on you. Additionally no restaurant on premises. Blue Iguana is gone, no breakfast, and you are left with the pool bar or vending machines. Pool staff can pour a beer but can’t handle more than the popcorn machine
Two pools with crystal clear water. Menu by the pool is somewhat limited . We ordered from the grill and ate by the pool. Staff was courteous. We stayed in a three beds spacious bedroom . I felt safe during my stay. Checking in was easy I will definitely return.
I went to PR for the first time with my son (10) years old; I didn’t know anything about the property, I reviewed the comments and guide myself for that. I have been working in hospitality industry for 23 years, so I know when a property is good or bad 90% of the time lol …. Well let me tell you something, this property is amazing, from the location to the customer service… located in a beautiful mountain of Fajardo, soooo many amenities for the entire family (2) pools, mini-golf, main pool was spectacular w slide for the kids, they need a little maintenance but fun, basketball hoops inside the pool, in the main pool you will find pool bar, amazing music (typical PR salsa) love it, park for the kids, basketball court, tennis court, nature every where you look, green views everywhere. Free Parking , rooms nice, clean and comfy (they need a little update) but they’re nice w balcony 🤩 Amazing customer service from the staff, very hospitable, they make you feel yourself at home. The only thing I can say not bad, but they need improvements ( the food and restaurants) Not room service, just one restaurant open for breakfast, but the food quality is very poor, not too many choices… so get yourself ready to eat outside for breakfast-lunch and dinner *you can order food after 11:30am at the main pool, but it’s fast food, btw amazing drinks *(I’m pretty sure is because they don’t have staff) but they can do better on the quality of the food; not fruits or natural juices. Overall they’re very good. I’ll definitely go back with my entire family but I’ll go first to the supermarket lol 😆 *convenience store close by (10-15min) drive. - Fajardo: Amazing beaches, amazing people, very hospitable, views, nature, attentive people and polite. 🙌🏼💙🌊🍃…
The room was comfy, ther is a coffee maker but the receptionist didn’t ask if we need coffee so I bought it in a market near by. For me it’s important those little details. The area where we’re designated was nice, but guest were too noisy. Pool was clean and the water had the right temperature. This place is near the Marina and from other beautiful areas to visit like Las Croabas and Las Cabezas de San Juan Reserve that makes it ideal to stay.
Found this very affordable resort on eastern side of Puerto Rico. You won’t find a better price with the amenities, though restaurants are closed without any foreseeable reopening and very unclear if/when the gym is open. We went with our 1-year old son with goals of visiting El Yunque, then catching a flight over to Vieques for the remainder of the trip. Great location for both. We had a great time hiking at El Yunque and coming back to enjoy the huge pool. My 1 year old son loved the water and playing with the basketballs in the pool. The pool bar was convenient and bartender made great mojitos. Room was on second floor with balcony with nice view of the ocean. One king bed with enough space for a pack and play. Just outside our room was a second smaller pool “Palmetto’s Pool” as well as a large terrace with covered picnic benches which was perfect for us to enjoy takeout meals. Plenty of great food options within very short driving distance, as well as grocery stores. There are two restaurants advertised but have been closed for a while even though it is advertised on their phone. Fitness center is large and fully equipped gym with what looks like everything you could need, however was never open when we were there. It’s advertised as 7 days a week but we were told Mon-Fri only, but it was also closed on the Friday that we were there so who knows. 5 stars for beautiful grounds and decent rooms, lost one star for things not being open. Would definitely still stay again though.…
The Inn exceeded our expectations- the room was clean, spacious and comfortable with beautiful amenities, a breakfast restaurant on site, and staff who were always friendly and accommodating. Great stay!
We stayed at Fajardo Inn for two nights at the end of our trip with our two young kids. It was find for a quick stay. Our room had a strong mildew smell and a super loud dehumidifier that would run through the night. We could have unplugged it, but didn't want to add to the mildew situation. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have any hot water. All I wanted was a shower before heading to the airport for a long day of travel. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance guy quickly. But he just confirmed there was an issue. There was no resolution and no hot shower. There was a long black hair in my kids' bed. when I pulled back the covers on the first night. That gave me the heebie jeebies. Everything else seemed clean. I've never had to sign so many "waivers" in my life for a hotel. Three before checking in, one when we got our beach towels, and another one when we requested clubs for the mini-golf course. (You have to get those from the lobby - not the pool bar which would be logical.) I know loss-prevention is important to a hotel, but it felt less than hospitable. We stayed at 2 other hotels in PR and borrowed boogie boards, towels, snorkel fins and never signed a thing. The pool was awesome. The kids loved the waterslide. The bar staff was nice. The putt-putt course was in a bit of disrepair, but it made things more exciting and challenging. The kids loved it! The whole time we were at El Yunque our 6 year old kept asking when we could go back for more putt-putt. The nicer restaurant wasn't open when we stayed, so the only option for dinner on-site was the pool-bar. The breakfast was fine (not included) but I felt bad for the waiter. They were understaffed and he was literally running between tables -- he was working so hard the former server in me wanted to put an apron and help him out. The individuals working were all very kind and hospitable. The security guard was warm and welcoming. It was more that the hotel polices seemed less-than inviting. At the end of the day, it definitely was not worth $300+ a night.…
