This place was great. It was about a 5 minute car ride from the ferry and the Kayaking Puerto Rico Bio Bay excursion. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. This place has an EXTENSIVE pool area. Additionally, it...More
This is one of those places that leaves you with a nice feeling. The rooms are big and clean as is the whole hotel. It has great pools and activities and is very reasonably priced. The Blue Iguana restaurant on site is very good too....More

The Fajardo has a parrot just outside the office that likes to start talking art 6 a.m. so I would ask for a room not too close to the office and restaurants but yes the main building is the best if you want too be close to everything. This past February we had a room on the pool side and we did not notice that it was noisy. This is because the pool close to the restaurants is more for adults - the pool for kids is down the hill and far enough away that you won't hear it. One of the things we liked about the upper pool is they don't play music through speakers. People can enjoy the natural sounds of birds and the breeze through the palm trees.
