I booked this hotel with great excitement. Then I read the reviews and got a little nervous but I spent a lot of time camping so didn't really hesitate. Then to my surprise and delight I found out that I was pregnant. The CDC and my doctor advised not to travel to countries where the Zika virus is prevelant. Especially...

Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to review our business. I believe you are misplacing blame for the situation we had. You called to cancel the room you had booked 3 or so days before the booking was to arrive, since you had booked through booking they are the ones that must change or cancel any booking made...

My husband and I stayed one night and it was so special. I wish we would have known to stay longer. We love supporting small family owned businesses, dining on local food (made by our wonderful host) and choosing options that are sustainable. The surrounding tropical forest is unlike anything we had ever seen before. I highly recommend this experience...

First of all the road, lots of reviews talk about how bad it is. We went in a rental sedan, just take your time and go slow. It's easy enough if you're not in a hurry. Make sure you take some food and drink with you. You won't want to try and get to town after dark. The hotel is...

I recently had the opportunity to visit El Hotelito, in Puerto Rico. Let me start by saying, it surpassed my expectation. The accommodations were very simple yet clean and tasteful. The surrounding Countryside was extraordinary, and very beautiful! If you're trying to get away from the hustle and bustle and locate yourself in more serene surroundings, I highly recommend El...

Lee F, Thank You so much for staying with us. I did feel like I had a friend hanging out with me all week! I hope to see you again soon so you can share some more of your stories and I'll make some more chops! Take care of yourself, Rafael

Had an wonderful experience with beautiful views (see pictures). The owner's father was a bit rude to some guests however and was somewhat miserable. Note this is very eco, there were coqui (look it up) in the room, so if you're squeamish might not be the place for you. Also no AC or fan, so it might be a bit...

Hi Gloria0816, I find it so sad to find this 1 star review among all my 5 star reviews. If you had some valid points it would give me something to work at, something to make better. The sad part is that the things that you are complaining about are key features of my hotel and a big part of...

I decided to choose a different type of experience, as I have to travel to Fajardo several times a year for work and wanted to something off the beaten path and away from the usual beach stays. The website information seemed very inviting. I had planned to stay for 3 days. Unfortunately due to cancelled flights, I was not able...

El Hotelito was everything I imagined and more! My fiancé and I traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time and we're so happy we choose El Hotelito as our home for the week. We stayed for seven nights and ventured out everyday and never once had an issue with the road (we rented a nissan versa, nothing special). There...

Beautiful spot in the middle of rain forest. The house has great sights, decoration and comfortable rooms, and Rafael (the manager) was very welcoming and had the courtesy of grabbing dinner for us! (we forgot to tell him in advance to prepare something for dinner). Our room was not air conditioned but we did not miss it! We opened the...

We had a great time there! Beautiful hotel, location, view and atmosphere. Very unique hotel that offers a one of kind rainforest experience. Raphael was very friendly, genuine, and welcoming. He made a great breakfast and gave helpful advice on local restaurants and catching the ferry. It was a personal environment that you can Not get in any other hotel....
