We had a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) stay at the farm cottage. We arrived late at night, but they left instructions where to go and left the light on for us. It was a beautiful view, and the cottage was nice. Not a super modern hotel, but cozy and lots more room to move around, so it...

Stayed here three days, and used it as a base for mt cook, as suggested in lonely planet, worksd fine, it's a beautiful 45 minute ride to mt cook area, and half the price. A plus was the fine conversation at breakfast with other guests. We had us, a Belgian couple, an Australian couple, and a Dutch couple, nice. Host...

Three badroom house was huge. Recommended base en route to Mt Cook. Vast fields with grazing cattle and memorable view of the Mt Cook. Plenty of room for kids to run arround in the yard (beware of the cattle fence and cattle 'byproducts' though if you choose to roam beyond the fence). The house is old but everything was clean...

This is the perfect place to unwind! We stayed in the B&B with a stunning view on Mt. Cook and hundreds of cattle grazing peacefully infront of our little apartment. Rooms are perfectly clean, tasteful and very well designed. The little terrace that comes with the room was the ideal place to enjoy a good glass of NZ wine at...

We all agreed that this was our favorite place to stay as we did our whirlwind tour of the South Island in 14 days. The rustic charm of the old farmhouse, the wood fire (well stocked with wood), the comfortable beds, great shower, beautiful views and friendly hosts made us feel very at home.

We stayed at the cabin and our room was facing the Mt Cook. We loved waking up every morning to such a beautiful view. The facilities in the cabin were just what We needed. Perfect to host a couple or a family of four .The washing machine was a plus, the deck was the best place for breakfast in the...

We stayed in the Bed and Breakfast Lodge for 2 nights. On arrival, I had forgotten that I had booked the lodge, rather than a self contained cottage and was initially disapointed. However, after a few hours, I realised that it was actually quite a nice option. You share a common room with guests from the other two rooms (during...

We arrived on a cold wet evening and found the cosy glow of various buildings so welcoming. In true kiwi fashion we were able let to ourselves in and get settled. Everything was there for us to warm up with and light a fire. Provided all towels , bedding and fabulous toiletries! None of that mattered compared to the breathtaking...

This was the first stop on a 3-week trip to the South Island. Great place to stay, and the weather offered phenomenal views of Mt. Cook and the nearby mountains. Sean and Nicola were great, and offered many ideas on things to do in the area. Due to scheduling, we stayed one night in the original farmhouse, and two nights...
