Reasonable room but no air conditioning so it's stifling! Motel is in a fantastic setting. It's about a twenty five minute walk into town, which is well worth visiting as an abundance of restaurants. Receptionist very friendly. Limited television channels. Depending on your neighbours can be noisy and a limited supply of hot water.

I Love everything about Edgewater, from the welcome I get whenever I enter Reception until the fond farewell when I leave. As for the experiences in between, well they cannot be faulted, staff here are wonderful and the atmosphere here is good. I have always encountered well maintained rooms with good tasteful decor, along with lakeside views and/or duck pond/lake...

About 30 minutes lakeside walk into town, this is an excellent hotel. We had a suite for two nights. Lots of space, excellent all round with lovely views over the lake. Large lounge which could easily seat five(!), a small kitchenette (sadly no oven) and even a washing machine and a bathroom to die for (we've never had a shower...

We stayed in this place for a few nights and I must say it was nice. The rooms are good, even though nothing to write home about. The grounds are good and the food and service in the restaurant was very nice. Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is extremely well located and is generally excellent - apart from the lack of air conditioning. Our Suite was very spacious and well-appointed. We were originally in a larger suite but it simply was not possible to stay there - even with a fan. The manager was very good however and quickly solved the issue to our satisfaction...

Water and mountains always make for spectacular views but Wanaka is among the best. The town shoreline is attractive (and a good place to eat) but for the ultimate views drive out of town and get down to the water's edge. It's worth it.

We stayed for two nights and were not disappointed at all. Everything about the hotel was spotless and well maintained. The lawns, rooms, restaurant, reception area looked good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views over the lake were delightful from our first floor room/balcony and the delightful 15 minute flat walk around the lake into town was...

This resort is in a beautiful setting on the lakeshore outside Wanaka. Our room was very spacious, bright and airy with a nice balcony overlooking manicured lawns leading down to the lake. We were only there for one night so didn't have time to take advantage of the excellent facilities on offer - tennis courts, spa, sauna, 9-hole putting green....

We stayed at the Edgewater on Lake Wanaka for two nights and really enjoyed our visit there. Our room, number 115, has a water view and is well appointed in every respect.the breakfast buffet in the morning was very good, with a wide variety of cereals, fruit, eggs, bacon, ham, cheese and many different breads and pastries. Very convenient location...

Was a really nice place to stay, room had a great view of the duck pond, nice comfy beds, nice and clean. No complaints would gladly stay here again. Wee bit more expensive but definitely worth the bit extra.
