We loved the food, as long as it's vegetarian I think you'll be spoilt for choice. Our room was gorgeous, there was a portable air-com unit but the cool breeze and the river flowing past are perfect without the need for anything. We had our own upmarket bathroom and the whole room was of a high standard. Would very much recommend

Don't know the answer - but there are some serious questions you need to have answered. For example, the 1 k goat track down the mountain is navigated by an old truck - and I doubt it has a proper child seat ( in fact - you will be very lucky if many vans that you use is Sri Lanka have seats - you may need to bring your own and fit it in every vehicle in which you travel). I would also be very concerned about insect control - the rooms were relatively open.
