clean, nice and welcoming, hospitable hosts - would recommend if you are searching for a room to access the slopes . easy to reach the town centre. probably not the best place to stay if you need to reach the galzig lift it is situated the opposite end of town.

Perched half way up a hill, reaches by a gondola/cable car or an energetic 25 minute hike. The views are stunning. Each room has a balcony. The downstairs terrace has an abundance of sheepskins to keep you warm. The sauna is very much appreciated after a long days skiing. Food well presented tradition Austrian. The staff are tirelessly helpful even...

We booked this hotel through inghams and chose this one as we wanted 2 rooms as our elder daughter was coming with us- the intention of the holiday was to spend some time with our younger daughter who was working in St Anton We knew this hotel was a little remote but the information provided by Inghams assured us that...

Went to this hotel with friends in January. It's advertised as a 'kinderhotel'. I'm so glad I didn't have my children with me. No clean water in taps, no access in or out of the hotel from 4.30pm. Kids get sick all the time. What happens if they get sick in this hotel? The manager was the worst though. Think...

We stayed here in January this year through inghams ski ...inghams were a little economical with truth re location. You can only access hotel between 9 and 5.30 via a cable car. They said the hotel would run a shuttle bus down to resort but that wasnt the case. On day 3 we got moved to a fabulous hotel Positive...

We have just returned from a ski trip to St Anton and stayed at this hotel which is situated up a mile long track above the village of Pettneu. On reaching the hotel the views are stunning. We were given a a very warm welcome and offered a drink on the terrace in the sun. We were then shown to...

Just back from a trip to the St Anton area. This is a great hotel if you like out of the way, family run hotels half way up a mountain! The rooms were good, with comfy beds and decent showers. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Gunter and Steffi in particular. The food was plentiful and to a...

Just returned from Austria where we stayed in the hotel Lavenar. Although slightly out of St Anton, the staff made us feel so welcome, and really went that extra bit for us, it was worthwhile being out of the way! (drinks are cheaper here too). Pettneu Is a 10 min bus ride from the slopes, but they run every 15-20...
