This hotel was arranged by our tour provider so not sure about value, and also not sure what other accommodation is available in this town. We were very happy with the restaurant and we were also impressed by the helpful staff. Otherwise, we found this to be the least desirable place we stayed in our week in Burgundy. While the... More

Dear Madam, Sir, We take into consideration your message on Trip Advisor and we thank you for your compliments to the staff and restaurant. Indeed our hotel is located at the exit of Nuits St Georges in a rural setting and not in the downtown, considering that you had no car we understand that after a day of walking you... More

The hotel is made up of three buildings: the main building, which contains the restaurant, the kids' room and the reception, is an 18th century hunting lodge, a handsome stone building with large fireplaces and wooden beams. The other two are long ground-floor buildings, one housing the standard rooms, looking onto the car park, the other with junior suites (essentially... More

We got there. We got a parking place. We got a small room with small beds. We had breakfast in a breakfast room with disco machine for coffee and wet flasks for juice, wet yoghurt cups, wet all over. Tip for the owner: Do not put everything on/in melting ice. And if you do - provide towels to wipe tables... More

We stopped en route here for just one night and we're delighted with the fine quality of the restaurant . The food was both interesting and innovative and made for an excellent meal experience. The hotel, located at the edge of the town, is in a beautiful and tranquil setting. However, our 'standard' room, whilst very reasonably priced, was not... More

For a one night stay on route to south France this was a good choice. Fantastic meal, great location. Pool was fantastic after several hours in a car. But Rooms were a bit stuffy as there were no windows in the bedroom and only patio doors facing the carpark. Ended up keeping the door open and closing the wooden shutter... More

Stayed for a long weekend. For 200 euro/night expected a little touch of something special. While room was spacious it didn't have any particular character or a cosy touch of the Zen theme. Bathroom spacious but shower head could do with descaling or changing. Not much water coming out of it due to thick layer of calc. Terrace, very nice... More

Not quite....but a good hotel just on the outskirts of Nuits - Saint - Georges. Not quite walkable into the village but well situated for routes de grand cru.... The "suites" are a better choice but what really makes this place are the staff - couldn't be more helpful and whilst breakfast is a relatively standard affair then lunch at... More

This lovely old building has a large car park and attractive gardens. A group of friends were having a riotous time in the swimming pool when we were there! The bar man appeared to have the afternoon off when he was needed and the delightful receptionist managed to get drinks for a thirsty crowd. The room for €115 was very... More

Hubby and I visited La Gentilhommiere one weekend in winter with our dog Whiskey. Beautiful village with wineries all around, the scenery was magnificent and romantic. The day we arrived it was raining and snowing, and the hotel was empty, with perhaps 3 rooms occupied. Each room is designed uniquely and we ended up in the Bollywood room. It has... More
