Situated just below the Beau Village of Aubeterre, this restaurant (with rooms) offers a range of menus, each dish being created from local produce with delightful and often surprising additions and sauces. The quality of the cooking is of the best.

The location is very handy for the main town of Aubeterre, which is worth the steep climb. We were staying there to visit family and it worked very well for somewhere to sleep. The room was spacious even with a travel cot. We found it clean and comfortable. We were there in August and found that we had to just...

Once again we had a delicious dinner at Fabrice's restaurant. For €31 each we had three excellent courses plus amuse bouche in a beautiful restaurant with great service. I had the maigret de canard which was pefectly cooked. It was a lovely relaxing evening.

Thought things were a bit odd when I was asked for full credit card details when calling ahead to reserve - normally in France a name is enough. Restaurant was closed as it was Sunday but advice regarding alternative local restaurants was poor. Room provided a bed and a basic bathroom. Breakfast poor - coffee cold - no fresh bread...

Went to the hotel twice, to eat with family. Each time the food was excellent. no faults at all. Very keen to help you with the choices of the menu. Have now been on a number of occasions during the year, and always good food, and excellent value for the price.

I stayed in this hotel for four nights. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable, the dinner menu was very nice and the location was very good as it was only a few mins away from the centre of the village. However, it was located on a busy road where the shouting from a bar nearby could be...

We had the most delcious dinner at this lovely hotel. I think that it would be a great place to stay. The hotel is family run. Father and son keep the food at a very high standard while Mother, and other son do a delightful job of keeping the service in tip top order. The whole family take pride in...

I came here with my parents. We agreed that the atmosphere was nice and service was very good. The only things I would say that they need to improve is then menu. It comes in a leather book which looks very used and tired, also the layout is very confusing. The food however was excellent and if they could sort...
