A friend recommended this place to me and everything she said was true.... the only disappointment was that on one of my three nights Julian had the night off so only got to taste two of his amazing evening meals (some of the best food I've ever had).... such an amazing cook and the conversation around the dinner table was...

The 18th C farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated providing rooms of character (and a gite next door), a variety of "eating locations" indoors and out and a good sized pool. Breakfast is taken in the enclosed quadrangle, under the sculpted canopy of a mulberry tree. Choosing between the huge array of local produce and speciality confitures and compotes prepared by...

They stay at Sous L'Olivier was memorable on a number of levels. We stayed at the one room house on the courtyard of the old farmhouse. The farmhouse is located on Route D900 and the entrance from the highway is unimpressive. However, as soon as you enter the hall, you realize that food is a major component of life here....

We enjoyed our stay in this old farmhouse. When we were there they were harvesting pumpkins from the adjacent fields. We stayed in the Olive room, which was quite large with a private exterior entrance. We were disappointed that we had to go to the lobby/dining room to get wifi reception. There is no TV in the room. The level...

My wife and I spent three nights as the guests of Julien and his wife, Carole. First, let me say that the accommodations were wonderful. For an eighteenth century farmhouse, we were never uncomfortable and our privacy was respected. Sous L'olivier is a prime location to explore Provence and the Luberon Valley, which we did with Juliens guidance. Now for...

We returned for another week this September to stay at this charming B & B in Provence. It is the in perfect location for a group of artists to stay if they want to visit the most picturesque small towns and paint a bit while they are there. The B & B itself could not be more beautiful, comfortable and...

We stayed for 3 days in August and what a great find this B&B was! Situated very handily for visiting some of Provence's nicest places but in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Our room was probably the smallest in the property but it was great for the 2 of us - very comfortable and well equipped with doors opening...

We spent 4 nights with Julien and Carole--gracious and welcoming. The location is ideal for exploring the Luberon and further west to St Remy, Arles, Chateuneuf de Pape, Orange and on and on. It is a rural retreat next to all the three millenia history of this area. Easy to go to them all and then retreat to peace and...

Our two nights here were perhaps the highlight of nearly three weeks in France. The B&B itself is charming and lovely, and Julien and Carole are gracious and accommodating hosts. It’s convenient to just about anywhere you want to go in Provence without the hassle of Avignon or Arles, and it’s situated in a pretty pastoral setting. But what sets...

Four of us stayed with Julien and his family in early July and I ashamed that it has taken me this long to leave a review because I always use Tripadvisor when planning holidays and found this B&B on here. Where to start? The property itself is beautiful and has been wonderfully restored. The property is located well back from...
