We arrived late at 10pm and the hotel in Flaine Forum was difficult to find and reception was closed. Recommend contacting the reception in advance to get the door code if arriving late. Room basic with TV and en-suite bathroom. Meals were very good and nice views of the mountains - friendly atmosphere. Good balcony sun terrace for that after...

I chose to book into Hotel Le Flaine as it is one of the most reasonable places to stay in the area. Therefore, I was by no means expecting luxury, but this hotel falls short on even the most basic points. 1. You can't check in until 4/5pm - which is absurd when you've booked as part of a package...

Stayed for 3 nights with family in March. Far exceeded my expectations in every way. I think this is a great family friendly hotel to use as a base to ski from. Never been to Flaine before, no its not a pretty resort, but being purpose built it is just brilliant. Within an hour of arriving we were on the...

We were trepidatious going to Club Hotel Le Flaine, due to other reviews on here. Fortunately we were happily surprised, it proves you can't always rely on other people's views. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful, and although we got into Flaine around 2.00pm being told we could not get into the room till 4.00pm it was not...

Arrived at 230pm to be told room not ready until 5pm not great when having been travelling since 430am. But ok shown room! Are you serious? We were given a room with 2 bunks and two...

Room was quite small for the 4 of us and there is only 1 lift in the building (so you might have to do quite a bit of waiting if you need to us it). But there's lots of great food for all meals. And great variety in that food. So there's always something for everyone. Short walk to the...

Four of us stayed at Le Flaine hotel from 14th-21st January. We were welcomed by Dennis at reception and given rooms 302 and 404. After having read a previous review I requested rooms on the upper floors away from any noise from the bar. I would say rooms 300-310 and 400-410 were all quiet and also away from the elevator....

THE RESORT we have just returned from a Christmas ski trip to Flaine ...where to start , now Flaine it self is not the pretty sparkley mountain retreat that you would see on Christmas cards it is a purpose built ski resort with concrete bauhouse style accomodation and very little character . THE SKIING skiing its self was not too...

Close to main lift area, 5min to lifts, several apree ski on way back. Easy access for ski & boot room. Food quality above there star rating, staff friendly helpful and efficient. Great view from lounge balcony, inspiring for the start of the day. Room basic but functional. Value for putting you on the slopes.

Firstly, the resort is fantastic, esp if a beginner. The hotel is functional, but probably 80's style decor that needs updating. Staff were wonderful, food excellent, but our room was dirty. I have been skiing for over 25 years and been to a lot of places in France. This has probably been the worst room. We had room 115. If...
