Rooms are very basic with beds coming up very short. Pillows also very lumpy. Make sure you ask for a room with a balcony. Location is good and a short 2 min walk from the slopes. Reception staff are not that friendly or helpful. The food is very good with a great selection of different food on offer. The staff... More

The Flaine hotel suited our needs - we went for a week of skiing in February. It is perfectly located only a short walk from the slopes and ski lifts. The bedrooms are definitely basic and minimalist but your there only to wash and sleep in them. The great thing about this hotel was that we were full-board and breakfast,... More

€2600 they tried to charge me for a single room for the week. A very tired old hotel. The rooms are particularly in need if a make over. 👎 Go to this ( Pierre & Vacances Premium Residence Les Terrasses d'Eos) €2000 for the week five star. Four room apartment five star Swimming pool giant juvuzzi Modern rooms cheaper parking... More

the ski room is large and had modern ski boot drying racks. the skis had individual locks. One of the best ski rooms I have had in 35 years of skiing. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large wardrobe. The beds were comfortable but a little on the short side. The bathroom was well appointed, but I would... More

Trip purpose was a ski holiday with 3 friends so we booked through a third party operator and we chose this based on the great value for money and the offering of full board. The food was great, you got exactly what you paid for. Breakfast was continental so if travelling from the uk and your expecting bacon...think again. It's... More

We stayed here for the week from 21/12/13. We read the other reviews on this hotel and went with an open mind as what to expect. It is classified as a 3 star hotel, which I would question. The reception area is ok, the boot room excellent and good security for skis. The spa area on the ground floor is... More

The location, value and food are as described in other reviews, making a good holiday base for a good and less busy ski area. 3 problems we had which may be useful to be aware of: 1: Like many French hotels the beds are VERY short, pushing away from the wall and using the suitcases at the pillow end to... Just back from a family ski trip in a large group. Hotel was ideal for that. Basically repeating what most people have said but rooms are basic but clean, you've got pretty much UK freeview channels in the room on a flatscreen tv, the buffet restaurant was better than I expected with plenty of fresh salad and variety each day... This hotel provided our party of 7 ( 4 adults and 3 kids aged 7-10) with an excellent holiday. While the building was a typical, tired 1960s style French ski resort block the welcome from all of the staff was first rate. The hotel had guests from the UK and plenty of French guests too which was fun and which... More

This hotel does not perport to be four star. For those who see tour operators ratings in the brochure ignor them and look up the official tourist board rating. How anyone can moan on one hand about hotel charges and then be smug about paying 9euros for two cups of coffee beats me. The hotel is well worth the money... More
