Myself and a friend stayed in these 4*apartments recently and were impressed with proximity to amenities and slopes in Chinaillon. A short walk from the residence across the road and down in an elevator meant we were at the Front de Neige easily in the mornings. It does depend a little bit where you are located in the building but...

Always start with a positive - this 'village' is very well presented and the standard of the apartments is very high ... but ... This is very important. It takes you about half an hour to get anywhere in this complex. And complex is the right word. It is a series of apartment blocks on a steep hillside that are...

We stayed here in January 2016 during what was described as the lowest part of the season. What did this mean for us? A fantastic price on a 4 bedroom duplex apartment, near empty spa and lovely quiet slopes and ski lifts. The complex itself is well designed - yes there are several lifts to navigate to get up and...

We were very disappointed, both in our rental 'chalet' apartment and the residence itself. The supposedly 'luxury' chalet was barely beyond basic. The bedrooms were of a decent size but the flat on two-levels had cramped living quarters and dark rooms with little view. In order to access the pool and spa area, teeming with crowds whenever we wanted to...

Let's start with what's good: We were upgraded from a 1 bed apartment to a 2-bed, and this was warm and comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen. Although the lifts are a pain at first you soon get the hang of it, and unless you have no interest in the pool/spa, we'd recommend staying in the mid-levels of the...

Let's face it, you are there to ski not to spend endless time in your apartment. We all know there are some real stinkers of ski apartments out there but this isn't one. Quite nice decor, a bath, lovely pool, good supply of hot water, 10 mins walk to slopes or bus stop outside and at under £700 for the...

The apartments are advertised as luxury. They are modest size (little room around the beds and small living space). They are reasonably well equipped but not enough comfortable seating for all people staying - 4 adults, 2 children in 3 bedroom flat. The hot water supply was very poor, the writer had only tepid water for showers every day. Also...

An excellent resort apartment with good access to snow with a variety of pistes to suit a variety of skier. The apartment is well equipped and spacious, wonderfully warm with good views of the slopes and village from the balcony. Wifi worked well but BBC reception on the TV can break-up at times. Long lift/walk to reception and pool but...

The hotel is in the centre of a small village in Le Chinaillon, both ski hire (Twinners) and shops are on the main road in front of the hotel. With the Ski information centre across the road. All lifts to the mountain are a short walking distance away. To access the ski lifts there is a lift behind the information...
