My wife and I have just returned from two weeks' stay in Malia where we stayed at Primavera.
We were a little unsure to begin with given Malia's party reputation and we are both mid/late-40s; we needn't have worried though, as the bulk of the...More
Just returned from 2 weeks here with my husband (we are in our 50's). As previous reviews have stated, this isn't 5* accommodation, but if you are looking for clean, comfortable and friendly accommodation with warm hospitality, this place has it.

Hi, my husband and I are both in our 50’s and stayed at the Primavera in September 2017. It is family owned and they are very welcoming and accommodating. We didn’t have any noise disturbances or see any trouble in the 2 weeks we were there. There are plenty of places to eat out and plenty of bars so you can go as ‘noisy’ or as quiet as you like. The old town is beautiful and quieter than the main streets. I wouldn’t go high season but would go again in September. There were plenty people our age around -and older. We were a little worried having found out it was 18-30 after we booked it but we needn’t have done. It felt very safe.
