Big friendly room, good bed, wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers, shower with good pressure. Coffee at breakfast excellent. Will be my standard choice to stay in Piano di Sorrento from now on. I loved the Jasmin in the inner court.
Italia was the perfect host. Friendly, helpful, polite and always with a bright smile. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms fabulous, the views great and the patio was a nice little bonus. Totally recommend it!
Good conditions, clean, amazing views from the lobby, very close to restaurants, very kind personnel, delicious food and best espresso I drank ever! It is very easy to find as it is on the main street.
Stayed 4 nights. The hotel was delightful, the staff was so helpful and went out of their way to do all they could to make my stay great. And the breakfast best of all the hotels I stayed, lots of variety. There was a small store and a pizza restaurant next door. I definitely give them 5*****.
We've been in Penisola Sorrentina many times, we know where to stay, how to move and we love it, but never heard about it. This time we were left with not much time to book a place and we stumble across to this hotel. Initially we were bit skeptics, we asked around to our friends in Sorrento and got nice comments. Well, we booked for 2 nights but then, we extended to extra 3 (Thank you Stephanie for having accomplished us). The hotel, outside seems just an ordinary old building, but you enter and various ornamental plants are welcoming you, lovely lemon trees in vase. A stair, and you get to the reception, Stephanie was there with a smile to meet us with courtesy. Few minutes and we were in our room, clean and tidy with all comforts, if not even more than a standard 3 stars rated hotel can offer. The following day we met Paola, young girl, but still gracious and kind like Stephanie. Breakfast ......... we never found in Penisola, a so perfect buffet. Eggs, bacon, toasted bread, grilled zucchini and aubergines, milk, coffee, and wonderful cakes prepared by Stephanie like zucchini and aubergines. We never missed a breakfast :-). We enjoyed so much and we subscribed also to a fidelity card that we are going to use it shortly. Thank you to Stephanie and Paola for their advise, would only to spend a word to Mimo, try to improve.…
I stayed here for three nights with a friend, and I would definitely stay there again. The staff were really helpful, their English was great (I speak Italian but my friend does not), and the location was perfect. We found that Piano di Sorrento was so much nicer than the main town of Sorrento, very quiet and peaceful - the pizzeria next door is well worth a visit too. We stayed in the room with no windows, which we found was not at all a problem considering we were only really at the hotel in the evenings, however if we had spent more time in the hotel itself, there was a little courtyard and communal areas where we could have also hung out. Breakfast was excellent too, in general it was a great hotel when you are on a budget.
Three of us stayed in one of their rooms that has an attached private terrace. Apart from the small shower stall the space, location and service was perfect. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with suggestions. Breakfast spread is small but sufficient. Coffee is good. Ample private parking available. The open courtyard has many plants that maintain a beautiful aroma all day long in the courtyard. It's a happy place.
I chose the Soleluna based on both its rates and reviews and I wasn't disappointed. My single room was spotless and had everything I needed for a short stay but it was the brilliant staff that made my stay, they are so friendly and helpful, especially Izabel. Great for a solo traveller.
If you will join the Sorrento penisula ,think about this lovely place, professional Staff thank you to Francesco,Paola &Domenico to Assist me in this 2 Amzing days in Sorrento. Is a relaxing place with nice terrace.
Wonderful hospitality as soon as we arrived. Isabel on reception made us so comfortable at the bar with snacks and drinks that we found it hard to leave and explore the area. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, from a home made aubergine dish to fresh fruit, croissants, cakes and omelettes. The hotel was very clean and bedrooms were a good size. Free parking was a bonus. Great views of the surrounding hills from the upstairs lounge. The pizzeria under the hotel served delicious food at a very reasonable price.
