A small masterpiece in the Sardinian hinterland not very convenient to the sea, located within a lush park, it develops like a small village of some buildings where rooms and services are located, the general architecture is very pleasant. Inside the park there is a spectacular swimming pool reminiscent of the Sardinian sea. Very spacious room (almost a suite) nicely furnished, very clean, excellent bathroom. Very refined common areas; plus there is a nice, very comfortable restaurant inside (separate review)
Friendly welcome. This hotel would deserve top marks if we hadn't found some (solvable) defects that were not adequate for the level of the structure: we found a broken light in the bathroom, when we reported it we were told that they couldn't intervene that day, the lights in the room in bed they are irrational in fact you cannot have bedside lights, or everything on or off, watching television is problematic (satellite TV with Italian channels scattered who knows where).
Of course it was a delightful stay, except that one expects the best from a hotel of this level. However, highly recommended also because the value for money is good.

This hotel has a spa-like vibe. It is very pretty, with expansive and well maintained grounds, including the relaxing sound of fountains in many spots. The pool is fantastic - even nicer than displayed on the website. My wife and I stayed in the large, comfortable Dream Suite, with a double spa bath. The hotel was very clean. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

The hotel would easily rate 5 stars except for a glaring deficiency - the very pretty dining room has been closed "since Covid." This was not disclosed on the website, which has pictures of the restaurant prominently placed. The dinner, at poolside, on rickety chairs, was only ordinary.

Sometimes on your journey you come across people or places that surprise you. Hotel Tarthesh was a real surprise in Guspini. The vast and complex structure available to the customer, the true and measured friendliness of the staff have always made you feel in the right place. Very pleasant and brief use of the swimming pool, excellent dinner served on the patio.

Pretty dismal, where to start... The bottom of the pool had green clouds of algen(?) which are not cleaned by the vacuum cleaner they have. The terras has cracks in the floor, the dinner is very expensive (over priced), cold what should be warm and all in all just not good. As this hotel has the only decent restaurant in this little town you are more or less condemned to it. The breakfast was appalling, definately not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Own drinks were not allowed on the premises, nor in the room, meaning that a refrigerator or even a table where you can sit and drink a coffee in your own appartment was missing. In some way this is understandable, what's not understandable is that the bar is closed in the morning and early evening. A drink, even a bottle of water can not be consumed after breakfast until early afternoon. Don't be fooled by the pictures, they do not represent the reality.
Staff is mostly friendly..

We were very happy at the hotel. Not super modern, but a well renovated old classic Italian building. Rooms and bathrooms are bigger than in other places. Wifi worked very well. In fact, I had to participate in some video calls for work. That worked fantastic. Also the AC works great. The best is certainly the pool which is stunning.
In terms of food there is room for improvement. Breakfast is a bit basic and on the weekend service was totally overloaded. We went for dinner to the pool restaurant once. This I do not recommend to do. It was very pricey, but the quality is not very good.
The hotel as such I recommend very much. We went in August and considering that it was high season, we were very happy what we good for the money.

A fantastic find, the Tartheshotel is one
location from a thousand and one nights with a lush garden.
On the patio there is a set of pools and fountains that create a wonderful atmosphere, not to mention the swimming pool, one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
Upon our arrival we had a very welcome upgrade to a room with attention to the smallest details.
Excellent cleanliness and very kind staff.
Super recommended!!!!

We had a 3 night stay here which had been postponed from 2020 due to covid.
It is a 4 star hotel and the rooms are well furnished and of a very high standard.
The staff were exceptionally nice- a big thank you to Isabella, Alberto, and the 2 staff at the poolside bar and restaurant!
We felt very welcome, and well looked after.
Sitting by the pool during the day was so relaxing.
Having dinner outside by the pool in the evening was delightful.
So glad we finally got there.

Airconditioning does not work well. 26+ degrees in the room and bad smelling. After complaining, no change "it all works". Bad mussels in the Restaurant on the first evening. Seriously sick. Told the waiter, but nobody cared at all. Area od the hotel not nice (next to Lidl). Never again.

5 stars are few for this wonderful hotel. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, excellent cuisine, superb swimming pool. The structure, both in terms of furnishings and style, has a truly particular charm. It is a true oasis of peace and tranquility, ideal for disconnecting from the daily and frenetic chaos of the city. Truly spectacular.
