Hotel Centrale is, as the name indicates, at the centre of the picturesque old town of Alcamo. It is a convenient place from which to visit Palermo and to get to the airport. The hotel is in an old building and finding some of the rooms off the winding hall may be a challenge. The rooms are simple but spacious...

If you are in Sicily and take a tour of the island, in the north, near Palermo, it is Alcamo, a small and cute little town. Very close to the center, the hotel is built on typical Mediterranean architecture. Narrow halls alternate with spacious rooms and places. The height difference of spaces and the sinuos interior route can make it...

Driving around Sicily with no reservations, we stumbled into the charming town of Alcamo. The Hotel Centrale was a really fortunate surprise. It is a four star hotel in the center of the town with free parking. There is also a restaurant which we did not try. The lobby and hallways are very attractively furnished as is the breakfast room....

The hotel is in a great location near the center of the city within easy reach of the main piazza. Parking in on the street but we had no trouble finding space. It is clean and attractively decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Further from Palermo than we were supposed to be, but a really nice hotel in a fabulous town. Some language issues, but clean and close to the town square and an easy walk to the sights. An accidental stay here, but a very pleasant one.

Comfortable, Decent hotel, good rooms. Close to piazza and interesting scenes in a town off the beaten path. Nice staff. Parking available. Nice Sicilian city we would otherwise not have visited if not for Segesta ruins. Don't miss those ruins

My husband and I were searching for a a room for the night in February in Sicily. This is low season and many places are closed or under renovation. A local person recommended this hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was a bit difficult to access since Carnevale was in full swing and we had to take a...

I stayed at this hotel for a week in October with my boyfriend. It was pretty last minute for reasons I won't get into, and it was a rushed decision to stay at this hotel. Upon arrival we were immediately checked in and went to our room which was spacious, had a comfy bed, wardrobe and modern bathroom. My only...

The hotel is not too bad. All in all clean and and located in Alcamo town centre which is nice. Yes, Alcamo is not Trapani, as someone here for some reason believed Centrale referred to Trapani, people who maybe don't check where the hotel actually is. We had issues with the hot water and I had to call a few...
