Having breakfast outside on the second-floor veranda of Albergo Al Sole, overlooking the main square of the tiny, hilltop town of Asolo, watching as mothers escort their young children to school, you can’t help but think, “This is why I wanted to come to Italy.” A well-appointed hotel – comfortable rooms, terrific restaurant – that’s intimate and personal. It was...

Nice small boutique hotel in town. Free parking is in the back of the hotel. Service and breakfast are excellent. Rooms were large and very clean. Walking to the hotel is uphill from the town center. Staff is very friendly.

And don't miss Asolo! This hotel sits on the top of a small hill in the town of Asolo. Picture yourself sitting on the front veranda, having breakfast or wine, overlooking the town and the valley. Awesome! The rooms are large and comfortable. Bedding, towels, everything about the room is small luxury hotel! The staff is absolutely fantastic and extremely...

From the moment we walked into this hotel until the moment we left we were treated exceptionally well. The rooms were beautifully done kept immaculatly clean. The restaurant is well worth having a meal, we had dinner and all the dishes were well prepared and delicious. If you are in the area or even close by it's definitely worth staying...

We just spent two nights in this quaint luxury hotel overlooking the town of Asolo. Be sure to request a room in the front overlooking the town. We were on the second floor, corner room. It was very spacious and decorated appropriately to the region. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. Really very pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful, from...

This hotel is situated in the center of the city AND on the top of the hill which means fantastic views to Asolo! Breakfast is served on the terrace (so is dinner) and the atmosphere is wonderful yet serene. The room is equipped with proper A/C and spacious. We had a view to the courtyard on the side, just lovely....

We found this hotel 10 years ago and always said we would return. Although we had been upgraded so we had a nicer view the standard rooms (if I remember rightly) tend to be slightly bigger however the view is of a side road not the villa. The service, staff and restaurant are all exemplary however the rooms are becoming...

Luxurious room with beautiful views, the most comfortable bed, its own sitting area, and a deep tub. Best food in town - dinner to die for, breakfast, too. Kind staff who make wonderful tour guides. Highlight of my trip to Italy. Worth renting a car just to come to Asolo, the Albergo Al Sole, and the nearby Villa Barbaro.

The Albergo is in a superb location: overlooking the central square of the lovely ancient town of Asolo. An old building transformed into a modern hotel with all amenities. It lacks a garden, however, or a space where guests can linger and relax while not in their room. The price level therefore seems on the high side. The staff are...
