It is a ok hotel to stay at if you are walking to Gaustadtoppen or visiting Rjukan, the food was ok (buffet a bit lacking), breakfast had everything you needed, but the rooms are as many others have mentioned very tired and outdated. The beds and pillows are a bit to worn out. This could be and amazing hotel in...

After a big hiking at beautiful mountains this is a very good place to have a rest. The rooms are a pretty old, but tidy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I think we will return here in the future.

Walking into the lobby we were very impressed. It looks like a very cosy mountain cabin sort of place. Pool is closed today, ok, thats fine.. We got a room in the basement and walking to our room, the cosy cabin ambience was gone! Old dirty carpets, pink painted walls, i'll stop there... Then we found our room, ok size...

This is a great hotel located in a picturesque environment (even by norwegian standards!)! The rooms were big enough and cozy. The staff was very friendlyand they went out of their way to help us! The food was also great, you can't miss with this place especially if you are interested in the history of WWII and Norway's part in...

Could be better. But the hotel has a fabulous view. The staff is nice but without the little extra. Good for walks in the mountains. Nice with the swimmingpool and the sauna. The center for reindeer beside the hotel is interesting.

I had the opportunity to stay here as part of a wedding party and really enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. I stayed in one of the bunk bed rooms (as part of the wedding), but I couldn't fault it and the breakfast was really delicious. I'd love to come back in summer, so if...

Stayed there for one night with a large group. The hotel (mountain lodge) is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but it was a great place to stay surrounded by a beautiful scenery. We arrived in the evening and were served the most delicious three-course dinner. The lounge/bar was also nice and cosy, and the rooms were basic but...

This is the only hotel between Rjukan and Rauland, but I prefer to stay here. Off season you risk to be almost the only guest, so prepare for quietness. Breakfast is more than sufficient. The rooms are clean, but could have been renovated. The batteries in the TV remote control are dead, which is annoying. They have a nice swimming...
