Fantastic stay at Praia do Sal! Accommodations were spacious and modern. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the octopus with sweet mashed potatoes. We ended up having to stay 2 unplanned extra nights because our flight was cancelled. Staff was able to find us a room and provided us some basic toiletries because our luggage was lost. Beautiful sunset views and short drive to Lisbon. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back when I visit Portugal again.
The hotel is very new and offers a very peaceful time away. As a family of four, the hotel had everything we needed for our young children and were quick to provide cribs and baby chairs for them. The hotel is clearly very recent which translates in a few processes needing some improvement. We were surprised to arrive and find out that we could only use the indoor pool one hour a day after booking. And the day we arrived the booking was full! It was not a good first impression, when the pool was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. Then, whenever we went to the pool, we were always asked to only use 1 or 2 sunbeds even though we were 4 adults and 3 children. I understand the limited space, but as a paying client that was not warned about this, it didn't feel good that I was limited in when I could use the pool and how. However, besides the pool issue, the staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive! I guess the peace of the river and the staff were the best part of the hotel! :)…
Serene location with all amenities for a relaxing vacation. The onsite Omaggio restaurant serves excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Along the river Tagus there are great views and really nice for some outdoor exercise. There is also a gym, Turkish spa and sauna at the resort that guests can use. 20 minutes across the Vasco da Gama bridge away from the hustle and bustle but easily accessible when you need to be in Lisbon.
Overall it was a perfect stay. We stayed in 1-bedroom apartment on the ground-floor, J0B, which was stylish and equipped with everything new. Above all I appreciated a nice AC/heating system and wooden floors, making the stay comfortable (I hate cold and humid PT winters). Very comfortable bed and pillows, though I would have appreciated separate blankets not just one. There are bathrobes, but no slippers. Cable TVs both in the living room and in bedroom. There was a huge terrace with table and chairs to dine alfresco, we had a nice river view too. Daily cleaning and towel change is a huge plus. There were, however, a couple of minor issues. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom - it was Singapore/Hong Kong kind of tiny. Really no space to move around, no bidet, no shelves to place bathroom bottles, creams etc, no rackets to dry towels (only one hot towel pole, enough for one towel only), so you'd want to change towels every day, as they just don't dry otherwise. The shower cleanliness could be better as well, there is some black mold in corners, which I noticed came away easily, one just had to clean more thoroughly. Unfortunately also no closet or rackets at the entrance to keep upper clothes and shoes. Iron could not be found in the room, but I believe they are provided on demand. As for the kitchen, it was equipped with everything necessary including kitchen towels, detergents and a welcome set of coffee, water, cookies. This welcome gesture was highly appreciated as we arrived late at night. The free Wi-fi was sadly completely nonexistent, so I had to always switch to my mobile internet. However the resort territory and premises are very beautiful, especially gardens and pools. Highly professional staff, always eager to help with front desk working 24/7. The resort is located on the southern bank of Tagus, which makes it a perfect base to explore both Lisbon, as well as Setubal peninsular and even Alentejo.…
We had a lovely stay here, nice room and very good breakfast! We highly recommend this hotel! Walking to restaurants in Alcochete is easy and also close tonthe ferry if you want to visit Lisbon. We will probably be back!
We spend 2 nights in this hotel. We noticed: very friendly and educated staff, excelent restaurant, price ratio quality very nice, beautiful outside pool and close to Lisbon. Price per night about 120€. Spa and inside pool also very nice..
Great hotel for spending some days enjoying life at the pool (just hope not to be windy, but no one can control). Amazing view to Tejo, Ponte Vasco da Gama and Lisbon. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Stay there for 4 nights. Very nice Place, very well located. The room was great, spacious and with all the necessary itens for a great stay. The restaurant is great bit a little expensive. Due to circunstancies should have more álcool in the hotel particularly in the rooms
New and modern apartments in the up and coming area close ro Lisbon. Very well equipped and spacious, beautiful pool and close to the cute village of Alcochete. 20 min from airport, 30 min from central Lisbon and 30-40 min from the gorgeous coastal lines of Comporta/Troia and Arrabida. Note that the water access is to the river Tages which is suitable for walking, kite and windsurfing (Quite wondy in the afternoon), however not for bath and swim. The infinite outdoor pool or inside heated pool are better options for a swim!
I'm a regular customer of this wonderful property. I enjoy every single minute that I spend there. Quite and relax area, spacious room, very nice staff that are able to support you 24 hours a day, amazing cleaning service that make sure that the house is perfectly cleaned, leaving for the coming day fresh fruit, milk, water, bread, butter jam. Highly recommended for anyone that is looking to spend a good time in family.
