Just spent a week at the Coach House at Warreleigh B&B. Great welcome from hosts Yvonne & Jeff with welcome gift of tea, coffee and Devon cream tea. The Coach house has been recently renovated and is in top condition. You enter on the ground floor which has granite flooring throughout. Master bedroom with on suite bathroom and double and twin with family shower room. Up to open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with fully equipped kitchen, reclining leather sofa and large flat screen tv.
Outside you walk up to private garden area with garden furniture. You are right on the edge of woodland so very quiet and we all had a great nights sleep.
If you love walking or cycling this is a perfect base for you with coastal path a 15 minute walk away through fields and golf course and national cycle routes close by.
We tried 3 restaurants in Budleigh, Taj Mahal, Mario’s and
Slice of Lyme all great quality and service. Only downside is that it is quite a walk into town and most of local pubs are currently closed but as long as you are happy to drive there are many great places to eat and drink, there is also a bus stop at the bottom of the road to take you into Budleigh or Exmouth.
Hope you find this helpful, will definitely like to return.

A lovely night’s stay visiting friends in Budleigh. Coleridge is a beautiful light and spacious room with a large separate bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. An excellent welcome from Yvonne and Jeff and a superb breakfast. An all round top class bed and breakfast.

A very warm welcome after an amazing day hiking. This Victorian B&B has beautifully proportioned rooms with thoughtful and individual furnishings. The freestanding bath and bubbles was most welcome after a long hike and later, a most comfortable bed. Fine breakfast with top quality ingredients. Vegans are well looked after. The hosts are warm and friendly.

Having stayed in lots of B&Bs over the years, I can safely state that Warreleigh is by far the best. We stayed for one night in the Coleridge room which was clean and beautifully decorated with an amazing bathroom. Our catchphrase during our stay was "attention to detail", from the bath salts in the bathroom, to lovely cups and glasses in the bedroom (as well as a great selection of teas and coffees) we felt everything was so very well thought out. Breakfast was delicious and again it was the little touches that made it stand out. Yvonne and Jeff were wonderful, welcoming hosts and we would definitely stay again! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful Victorian house, with lovely hosts (Yvonne and Jeff) to welcome you. Our room (the Coleridge) was very spacious with a huge bathroom. The property has been maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Excellent breakfasts! Easy car parking within the property. Outstanding value, and we'll definitely book again if in the area.

This is by far the nicest B & B we have ever stayed in. A stunning property both inside and out and a Fab location for the coastal path and exploring the Jurassic coastline. Our huge room was super luxurious, a very comfortable bed and quality linens and towels. However, what makes this B & B stand out are the superb hosts Jeff and Yvonne - so friendly and welcoming and the best quality breakfasts we have ever been served. Top branded cereals and yogurts, freshly baked pastries and finest quality meats were all on offer each day. In addition there was a super food mix of nuts, seeds, dried fruits and goji berries - never have I been offered this before - a real treat.
Thanks to Jeff and Yvonne for looking after us so well and for keeping us safe in these strange and challenging times. We will definitely return next year.

We booked two rooms, both were superbly decorated. Bathrooms were beautiful. Breakfasts were lovely with excellent choice. Location was great for visiting Budleigh Salterton and other interesting places. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They recommended some good restaurants to eat at night which was so helpful as we had an 89 year old relative with us. We would recommend this love place to stay, definitely a hidden gem and we would love to stay again in this lovely quiet location.

My wife and I booked three nights at Warreleigh bed and breakfast when visiting friends. It is located on a quiet no-through road on the edge of Budleigh and has ample gravelled parking to the front of the property.

The building itself is a handsome Victorian villa that I can see has been well taken care of. Likewise, the rooms have clearly benefited from extensive refurbishment, making them light and modern whilst still retaining their Victorian charm. Our room was Coleridge, which has a fantastic high-ceilinged bathroom, including a free-standing bath and large shower.

Breakfast was very good and we both went for the full English option, which was excellent. Breakfast is served in the ground floor of the house in a large spacious room. The tables are nicely spread, which I like as I don't necessarily want to hear everyone else's breakfast chat! There is also a seated area in this room, which we did make use of.

In summary, a delightful B&B set in a beautiful building - well worth a visit.

We have just had a 2 night stay at Warreleigh, taking 2 rooms.
Both rooms were beautifully decorated, very spacious and super en-suite bathrooms. Very quiet location yet only a few minutes from the sea front and the town centre, very convenient. Easy parking on the wide gravelled driveway. Lovely breakfast with vegetarian options.
A really friendly couple own and run Warreleigh and were more than willing to give out useful information. Great place to stay and would definitely use again if we return to Budleigh.

A delightful couple own this lovely B&B where the rooms have all been modernised to a very high standard and are spacious and lovely. Breakfast is delicious, beautifully presented and of the highest quality. Situated in a quiet location about 1/2 hour walk to the sea front and shops this is an ideal place for a night, 2 nights and even longer. Parking is in their private drive and very accessible. Of interest to golfers it couldn’t be more convenient as East Devon Golf Club is just down the road.
