We couldn't of wished for a nicer place to stay. Our room was spacious and luxurious with excellent on-suite facilities and a really comfortable bed. We loved all the little extra touches, fresh fruit, good quality toiletries, etc. Being a converted oust, the rooms are full of character. The proprietors, Kate and Sydney, were really good hosts - extremely helpful and...

We stayed in this remarkable oast house midweek and booked the round room with the stars on the ceiling. What a beautiful house. The owners Kate and Sid are obviously very proud of their home and it showed in so many ways. The little touches: - the fresh milk in the room, the complimentary cleansing and toner lotion on the...

My partner treated me to a weekend away in Rye and we stayed in this lovely B&B. From our arrival we were welcomed and the Oast House is in a beautiful setting. Lovely and clean and lots of extras in the room (choccies/water/fruit), The breakfast choice was wonderful - choice of fresh fruit/cereals/nuts etc along with a cooked breakfast which...

Pretty converted Oast house in the village of Icklesham. Lovely location within an apple orchard just off the beaten track, but only half a mile, and three quarters of a mile from 2 great pubs in the village. Kate and Syd are a lovelly couple who make you feel very welcome. We went down on a cycling weekend and they...

We were made very welcome by Kate and her husband. Everywhere was very clean and well cared for. The property is in a lovely rural setting, with lots of footpaths round about, which suited our requirements as we like to walk. The breakfasts were delicious with an excellent choice available and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We are among those who did not choose Manor Farm Oast ourselves. Our visit was initiated by our son and family as a Christmas present. My wife is a Kentish lass who has always longed to stay in an Oast House - the choice was, therefore, perfect! Sid and Kate are excellent hosts and it took us no time at...

I didn't choose Manor Farm Oast, our mid-week 2 day break was my 60th birthday present from our sons - it was an inspired choice. There is an obvious wow when you drive up and see the Oasts, the setting is lovely and the surrounding orchards were just beginning to break into blossom. We had a warm welcome from Kate...

My husband and I were attending a family birthday party being held at the pub in Icklesham and as our presence was a surprise we needed to stay close at hand. So when we arrived (late, in the dark and after a long drive from North Wales) we were delighted with the location, the welcome and the accommodation which we...
