The setting and premise are both amazing as is the location, the surrounding were peaceful and we left feeling thoroughly relaxed. The surrounding areas does however lack a little love and maintenance, I accept compost toilets can be a bit smelly which doesn't bother me but there seems to be a lack of cleaning here and would benefit from a...

Thank you for your response, I am really happy that you had a relaxing time and when guests do feel the peace here, that is what makes me most happy. Really sorry that you felt that we did not clean enough.... I know that is not the case, sometimes stains and chips on sinks do give that impression particularly when...

Mother earth is a sanctury from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We stayed for a long weekend and truly relaxed. The location and views are beautiful. The whiskey barrel hot tub is fantastic come rain or shine. The bed is supercomfy and breakfast with the chickens was lovely. We left fully re-charged to head back to our young...

We visited The Rising Sun on August 30th for two nights and it was incredible. So relaxing, pretty much didn't see another soul except Daphne who was there to welcome us. I'd recommend taking enough food for your whole trip, while there's a pub near by to eat there's not really any shops to stock up on provisions. We didn't...

An amazing mud hut structure in the beautiful Welsh/English border countryside.. We chose Mother Earth because of the view of the valley we'd seen on the website, however it was partially obscured by the overgrown hedge which was a shame, a little cutting back of the brambles would have resolved this.. Also although it definitely has lots of rustic charm...

What a truly unique place this is. The Rising Sun, nestled at the bottom of the garden, underneath a canopy of leaves with a view to die for. A private space for long soaks in the outdoor bath, BBQs, sitting on the porch watching the sun on the hills. Magical. The accommodation is cosy (or as the Danish would say...

Myself, partner and daughter stopped at the Angel's Tabernacle on the last leg of our road trip, staying in quirky and unusual places, around England. We loved it! I am not a camping/outdoors type of person but the accommodation was immaculate and the beds, with feather bedding, were two of the most comfortable we slept in on our trip. Daphne...

We spent the weekend at "Mother Earth" with our little Jack russel for a well deserved break. The whole place that daphne has created just leaves you speechless. You arrive and are instantly taken into another world. Very tranquil and above all relaxing. The accommodation is well thought out and has everything that one needs. The icing on the cake...
