We enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable though a little small. The view from the window was splendid and the breakfasts tasty. Pat really liked the homemade rhubarb and blackcurrant jam. Fresh cold milk on the tea tray & chocolate biscuits were a nice touch. One unusual thing was a request for cash on arrival, no problem as...

We stayed here for 2 nights in February. We were able to check in around 9 a.m. after an early flight from Liverpool. We had a choice of rooms; either an en-suite room (shower) with no view of the bay or a room with a view but no en-suite. Both were lovely but as the modern, spacious bathroom was just...

Clean and comfortable bed & breakfast, with friendly hosts, excellent breakfasts and good views over the bay. We stayed five nights on a combination of business and pleasure and were made to feel very welcome.

This is a traditional family house. The owners David & Susan were very welcoming and couldn't have done more to be the perfect hosts. The en-suite bedroom had everything you would expect, including a sea view and fresh milk daily on the tea tray. Susan's breakfasts are superb and plentiful. Great location, and we would definitely stay here again on...

Stayed for 5 days. Susan and David were really lovely. They welcomed us off the early morning ferry and served us a delicious cooked breakfast with plenty of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. Tea served in a lovely silver teapot! Cotton napkins with silver napkin holders. Not the usual paper napkins. We were shown to our fantastic en suite...

Mont-y-mer was the ideal retreat from the mayhem elsewhere on the island. David and Susan's warm welcome to their lovely home, and excellent breakfasts, certainly made for a memorable stay. The location is ideal for visiting the rest of the island by road, and is very convenient for the steam trains, too. A different beautiful sunset every evening from the...

I can not fault our four night stay at Mont-y-Mer in May 2014. David and Susan are perfect hosts and have recently been awarded a golden breakfast award from the Isle of Man tourist association. Well earned in our opinion. Nothing is too much trouble and as previous guests have commented, the rooms have fabulous sea views, are spotlessly clean...

That was our first visit to Isle of Man. The view from the room is fantastic and the owners left there binoculars so you can enjoy the view and animals in bay even more. Room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. Owners, Susan and David, are very friendly and helpful. They have millions of maps and guides about island so...

Can't express the delight we experienced on seeing the view from our room. Just wonderful. Sparkling bay and diving gannets. Perfect. Lovely welcome from Susan and David. Very comfortable stay and wonderful breakfasts. Our hosts went the extra mile and sourced my favourite Fairtrade Columbian ground coffee too! We'll definitely be staying here on our next visit to the Isle...
