Excellent B&B - John was a great host and made us very welcome in his home. Very comfortable, large room. Fantastic view overlooking Tarbert harbour. Great location - nice quiet area and 5 minutes walk into Tarbert through the Marina. John is very knowledgeable and added a lot to our holiday in Tarbert. Very highly recommended, this really felt like...

Tarbert is the lovely village in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. Ardglass has one of the best views of harbour - busy with yachts coming and going. A tour of Kintyre is a wonderful day out, down the A83 west coast to the Mull of Kintyre, returning up the B842 via Caradale Excellent B&B. We have booked...

Brilliant position, great view from the bedroom. Bathroom across the hall. Excellent and varied breakfast. Helpful hosts, sharing local knowledge. Very homely. Travelled on to Islay, very easy to do so.

The rooms are very clean and tidy and the views across the harbour are stunning. The couple who own the house are exceptionally pleasant and welcoming and make you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent and a great start to the day. An excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area.

I was a tad worried about this bungalow due to the steep flight of steps from the street (I've had a spine op) but the terrific views over the Loch made them well worthwhile. A very friendly welcome from Margaret was followed by being shown to a lovely light bedroom, with a reasonable sized bathroom with shower and loo. Facilities...

Ardglass B&B is just perfect. Beautiful and tidy rooms with splendid view. In the rooms and bathrooms you can find everything what you need. Owners are really friendly and gave as plenty of advice where to eat and how to drive back to Edinburgh without being stuck in a traffic jam. And the most important: We decided to go for...

Went to Tarbert for the Viking Festival and stayed at Ardglass. Getting up at 5.30am for the event never assumed the owners would make us breakfast that early, but yes they did no problem. Room was perfect, TV., hair dryer milk, tea, coffee everything you would want. We had a private shower room / toilet across the hall and the...

Was so glad we decided to stay here on our short stay in Tarbert. A beautiful B&B with beautiful views. Our hosts couldn't have been any friendlier, lovely people. The room itself was spacious and extremely well presented. Our breakfast was fresh and delightful. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Tarbert. Thank you John & Margaret!

As soon as we drove into Tarbert we knew we wanted to stay there. It is such a quaint attractive village right on the water. Ardglass was recommended by the local Information Centre - who were very helpful. The hosts were very welcoming and the wonderful view from the bedrooms was over the Tarbert Harbour, Castle and Marina. It is...

This being our very first B&B we were spoiled. The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming. We were greeted upon entry and shown to our room where there was tea and coffee waiting for us. The room was very well done and decorated nicely. The en suite was very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the views were...
