My new husband and I stay for our honeymoon and had an a amazing time. We found it ever so peaceful and romantic, soaked in an incredible history. The views from the dining room were stunning as was the food. Will definitely be going back.

Worth noting Tarbet is at the top of Loch Lomond TarbeRt is another hour and a bit. Something that cause great confusion with me and my wife. Regardless the drive to the hotel down the side of loch Fyne is amazing. The hotel is very remote, located approximately a mile up a private driveway. No phone signal but free use...

This was my fifth visit to Stonefield Castle and I was looking forward to the beautiful views, comfortable rooms and fine dining of previous visits. Having requested a disabled friendly room I was given room 2. (I had stayed in room 10 on previous occasions) Overlooking the car park but able to see some of the gardens I was dismayed...

Had a 2 night midweek stay and apart from a couple of minor niggles I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Lovely room with beautiful views over the loch, king size bed, coffee and tea facilities, modern bathroom with great shower and good selection of toiletries. As we were being shown our room the receptionist advised...

Just back from a short break here and I have to say what a gem. The location is beautiful (despite the rain). Lots of walks around the hotel. Down to the waters edge and you can stroll over the causeway and around their uninhabited island. The staff are really friendly and the young woman who covered reception during our stay...

Everything you needed, a hairdryer, coffee machine, slippers just luxury. Food was excellent as was the service and staff. The view was fantastic overlooking the wonderful gardens Hotel is 2...

The hotel itself is part Castle and part newer annexe our room was in the newer part overlooking Loch Fyne. We had booked for a two night stay using an itison voucher which gave us two...

Myself and my partner got this itison voucher as a Christmas present a one night stay with bottle of wine, dinner and breakfast. You can upgrade the room but we didn't bother. Castle itself is lovely and scenery to die for absolutely gorgeous even in the rain. Reception staff were lovely and took us to our room on ground floor...

Spent 2 nights here using an itison voucher which was really great value for money. Food was excellent along with the service we were given. We had a room overlooking Loch Fyne which was absolutely superb. I would highly recommend this hotel for its setting, ambience and service. I even had a game of snooker in their games room which...

I come here every now and then for meetings with my boss, and come up to walk our dog around the island when the weathers nice. On this occasion we stopped in for lunch after a walk around the small Barmore island with the dogs and family. The grounds, Barmore island, and the views (from outside and the restaurant) are...
