Premier Inn Rhyl Seafront has garnered a reputation for its helpful service, though the occasional guest has encountered slower response times and unprofessionalism. While opinions on value vary, with some dissatisfaction regarding room quality, the hotel's atmosphere is often commended for its comfort, cleanliness, and special touches.
The strategic location near the seafront and town center is a highlight for many guests, despite occasional weather-related drawbacks. However, some travelers have noted problems with room conditions and amenities such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Arrived just before 2 and cassie was in the reception explained how we could park and pop our number plate into the screen in reception which we did. Upon arrival to check in just after 3 it was busy and she was all on her own but still had the best service despite being rushed off her feet. As a family 1 parent 2 daughters and a grand daughter, upon arrival to our room was a golden ticket when going out for our evening we took it with us and both children given a drink and sweets even the 15 year old which we couldn’t fault. Given all information we needed the only thing as a downside was the front door was out of service so everyone was using the back door which late at night didn’t feel very safe down the side streets. Non disabled parking could be marked clearer in the hotel carpark but it was easily accessible. Room was clean and tidy windows outside could do with a wash but all in all would return if needed too this was just a 1 night stop gap

We stay in Premier Inns several times a year. They are much the same, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, tea and coffee etc. The location of this one is good as it's right on the seafront and we were not disturbed by outside noise at all. There is a big free car park at the back which is a bonus. Due to Covid you had to book housekeeping and be out of the room if they go in. We chose not to have it at all on our stay as we cleaned it ourselves. If you wanted towels or toilet roll etc you ring reception and the staff bring it to your room. This means the reception staff are doing much more work than usual, I hope that management note this. You leave full bins out by your door and the staff empty them for you. I did feel like I was not getting as much as a break as I would have liked as I was making beds, cleaning bathroom etc however this was preferential to having someone else in our room so our choice.
My only complaint is that this hotel has no super king beds. We had a teeny double bed which did not suit us at all. I found this unusual as all other PI I have stayed in have the super Kings in them. I would not stay here as a family again for this reason and also because of the extremely poor poor breakfast service we received from the pub next door that PI are in partnership with.

I found myself staying at this hotel again due to an illness in the family. Me and my father had booked a twin room just 40 minutes prior to arrival and managed to bag a room for only £55 which is rather good considering the late booking. We decided not to purchase breakfast this time but would be considering it for our next stay. As usual I will split the review into parts for easy reading...
Welcome,
I arrived at the hotel to wait for my father and was met by a wonderful receptionist. She was a very open individual who checked in on me whilst I waited. 30 minutes later my father arrived, 25 minutes after he’d said he’d be there, typical dad, however he isn’t the one being reviewed here. As we had booked the room not long before arriving, it wasn’t allocated yet and we did have to wait a little longer than usual for the receptionist to allocate us a room, no bother, all was well.
Room
The room as expected, was in immaculate condition. Premier Inn certainly do have a reputation for smart and clean rooms. As it is a budget hotel, room amenities are somewhat lacking, but who needs a phone and a trouser press these days? They do however provide tea and coffee facilities with options to take extra from reception free of charge, there’s also soap and shower/hair gel dispensers provided in the bathroom and a hairdryer next to the bathroom door. Air conditioning is provided and an instruction sheet to tell you how to use it is on the desk. The room consisted also of a jumbo double bed and a lounge/chaise which the employees will turn into a single bed, thus providing a twin room. Now, lets go back to the bathroom. I did have an issue in my stay which was that I slipped in the bath, how it happened I will never know and all I remember is my dad rushing into the bathroom to see me half covered with a ripped down shower curtain, gladly it was the lower part of me. Don’t worry guys! Let me assure you that Premier inn do provide locks on the bathroom doors, I’m just forgetful. After trying to hook the shower curtain back up I suppose it’s best to say in my review that ‘it was like that when I found it’. I would recommend that premier inn install a grab handle though just to provide something to grab if and when people do have a similar accident. Sorry about the curtain!
Food
As mentioned, we didn’t take breakfast this time around as for £9.95 we thought it would be cheaper and simpler to stop off at Wetherspoons instead. I will say however that having done this, it’s really not worth the hassle as it’s only saving a couple of pounds. I know from experience that the breakfast in this premier inn is excellent, they even have a made to order system when it comes to cooked items, you can have as much hot food as you’d like, just like the cold items. And for the reasons of flexibility and quality it’s definitely worth the price.
I hope you’ve found this review helpful,
Luke

We spent four nights here in December 2019, absolutely loved it, the hotel staff where very friendly and made us feel welcome, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are quiet and comfortable, it is a nice bonus to see a large bath in the bathroom. The restaurant is so handy for breakfast in the morning the price where one adult pays and a child eats free makes for very good value, the bar and restaurant was always lively at night but i still managed to find a quiet corner if i needed, this hotel represents excellent value for money and a good base for which to explore the beautiful North Wales coast, Rhyl has been run down for a long time but investment is being made in the area and this can be seen all along the seafront this is great to see as Rhyl is a lovely seaside resort, on the whole we loved our stay and cannot fault the staff who where all very welcoming ...good job premier we shall be returning :)

Running contrary to what many people might think, Premier Inn are cleaning rooms less often at the moment. In fact you have to ask at reception for your room to be cleaned or for fresh towels. We weren't made aware of this on our arrival and only found out at the end of the first day when we returned to our room and then contacted reception. (We hadn't noticed that an a double-sided sheet of A4 paper had been left in the room to alert us about the various issues current surrounding Coronavirus. The relevant paragraph about housekeeping being on the lower 20% of the first side. Perhaps this particularly important issue should merit a specific sheet of paper?
The room was clean and tidy as normal with previous Premier Inns we've visited although we did report a faulty light in the bathroom ('Is it bothering you?' was the unusual response from the receptionist before she told us that she would 'have to report it to Maintenance'). The restaurant is a disappointment. Not the usual Beefeater or Brewers Fayre but a Cookhouse + Pub. The Test and Trace procedures were pretty lax. Only once were we asked if we had logged in via the QR code. We attempted it once, but since we both struggled to get an internet connection, we gave up. Hand sanitiser was readily available however. The hygiene procedures were curious. Apparently staff could collect plates from the tables but were unable to put them down on the table. You are asked to take the items from their trays. No masks or gloves were in evidence and often stood well within 2 metres when taking the orders.

Understand covid rules mean rooms aren't cleaned if you only stop two nights but coffee/tea facilities only enough for one cup each for entire stay. Reception staff not wearing masks correctly when checking in or on duty. Hand sanitiser machines in reception not working correctly. When mentioned to staff they refilled but that didn't solve the issue. Restaurant attached was extremely disappointing. (Good Weatherspoons round the corner) Seafront within 200 yard walk used poetic license on seafront location and don't expect any sea views. Good location to explore beautiful Wales with many great locations a half hour drive away. Certainly doesn't live upto Premier Inn promises or other many Premier Inns we visited.

Visited here last minute New Year’s Eve as was working in the area. Lovely immaculately clean room and bathroom. we asked to be moved to a room with a bath if possible, nothing was too much trouble all the staff friendly and accommodating. The bed was soo comfortable! Definitely going out buying one of those mattresses now.
Had a part sea view but didn’t expect it at all as we booked the night before. Nice and quiet didn’t hear any outside noise.
Breakfast was lovely and fresh. it wasn’t self serve though was made to order, probably because the dining room was empty and a lot would’ve gone to waste. Only us and another couple were dining at that time. We walked past a little later and it seemed busier.
Rhyl itself could do with a bit of face lift however it’s a lot better than it was a few years ago. There are some nice parts.
Location of hotel is excellent as is the interior( one of the best premier inns I’ve seen )and will probably visit again this year at some point.

Stayed from Friday 25th September for 6 nights rang up before going and asked for a sea view which we were given.
Free carpark behind a couple of houses down which is fantastic and saved us car parking money. You need to enter your registration number once in reception. All staff were fantastic and helpful.
We asked for clean towels and it was no issue at all. We had a full day out and request our room to be cleaned and even asked for 4 lots of towels to be left which they did.
The hotel is so central to walking into the shopping area and driving around to other areas
Would defo book again if going to Rhyl
All staff wore face mask were very polite professional and helpful
Thank u to everyone for making our stay relaxing

We stayed at Premier Inn Rhyl Seafront in the last weekend before our girls went back to school as we wanted a final break beforehand. We tend to use Premier Inn for short breaks as they are usually in good locations and are well priced. They are usually pretty consistent too so you know what to expect.
Overall we were happy with our time at Rhyl Seafront. We had 2 rooms on our booking, 1 for my immediate family (4 of us) and 1 for my mother in law. The rooms were clean on arrival, a good size and had everything we needed in them. The hotel has its own free car park which is ideal. And the location is fantastic, right by the beach. The restaurant is good and the food quality was good too. When you ask for help, the staff try to help. The check in and check out process is reasonably swift.
There were a few things that disappointed us about our stay. We had booked 2 rooms on the same booking and when we asked for them to be as close together as possible, we were put on separate floors. I asked if there was any way to get them closer together only to be told these were the only rooms available. We checked in at the earliest time we could so part of me wondered whether this was true but regardless of this, I'd have though common sense would be to put 2 rooms on the same booking together. The service overall was quite average. The staff are okay but not especially happy and friendly. If anything then seem tired and so there doesn't seem to be much proactivity.
On our 2nd day we came back to the room to find that the room hadn't been cleaned or new milk, tea bags added. When I looked through the hotel information on a piece of paper on the desk I noticed that Premier Inn are no longer cleaning rooms to reduce contact due to covid. Whilst I would have understood this policy a few months ago, I'd expect that time has moved on since then and that room should now be back to being cleaned, even if it was just a light clean with towels and utilities replenished. The hotel didn't seem especially well staffed and so I wonder again whether not updating this policy fits in due to their staff availability. In any case, if the staff member checking us in had told us this, we would have known what to expect and could have adapted accordingly. What it meant was that we had to go to reception and ask for additional items like toilet rolls and towels like they were a luxury item!
Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements would take it to good.

Amazing building, amazing breakfast just a shame my side of the bed wasn’t comfy as springs were sticking into me. ( reported and I’m sure sorted out) would go again! Just not in room 127 lol
Breakfast was paid for with room booking, a good fill of continental foods, and a cooked breakfast ( depending which breakfast choice you chose) good range of cereal, fruit salad, crumpets, toast and pasteries. Then bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, black pudding beans tomatoes oh and hash browns too! and you could go back for more!!
