The Crane is a beautiful resort. There are several staff that go above and beyond to take good care of the guests. It does feel like you’re retuning to visit family when you come home to the Crane. That being stated, we have noticed that the restaurants are sometimes very short staffed, with literally no waiters at times and management having to cover. Unfortunately, the seaweed boom also didn’t work and the beach is covered with thick sargassum seaweed. We have historically seen the resort try to clean the beach with both a tractor and use of the landscaping crew. Now we don’t see the tractor and the landscaping crew only clears narrow paths through the seaweed instead of removing it. I think that’s worth noting because we observe a different work ethic at other resorts when dealing with sargassum. We have been at other 5 star resorts where the staff will ensure that all the seaweed is removed for their guests so that they can enjoy a relatively pristine beach. Apart from that, we’d still recommend the Crane to others and hope they’ll take action to improve the guest experience.…

Stayed for 6 nights as HGV Max members. Staff was great from check in to check out. Food on site was good didn't hit all the restaurants. We did do the beach BBQ on Tuesdays, was great make reservations early in the week. Beach was great for us, would be nice to have the elevator to the beach fixed. Had an issue with lack of hot water for the room, staff moved us the next day all good from there thanks all We used Ezra Quinn for our airport pick up and drop off, on time coming and going firstname.lastname@example.org 1-246-224-8176 even stopped at the local store on the way to the Crane. Will be back
Would never stay at this property again. Needs ton of upkeep, AC not working at all, Elevator to beach not working for last 2 months. Management is clueless and their only comment is they are overseen by Hilton but now fully owned. Said take it up with Hilton as they have no ability to help their guests. WORST experience EVER with Hilton and would never come back to Barbados based upon this. Will be seeking full refund from Hilton based upon this as it’s not up to the par of Hilton and surprised they would want to put their name on it. TERRIBLE
We traded timeshare points to stay in one of the lovely Hilton Grand Vacation rooms with our own garden and private pool. We were very happy with our accommodations and the Crane Resort. The restaurants had a nice variety, the village concept was great, the many pools to choose from was awesome. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Loved it!
Had a great week. The team that works at the Crane are awesome - great and friendly service everywhere. Loved our rom with the ocean front view. Was able to sit on the deck in the morning and have a coffee and enjoy the morning sun. Love the Carriage House for lunch and drinks and Azure is amazing for dinner and if not so hungry then the bar and tapas is perfect. We went golfing one day and The Crane helped us arrange and it all went smoothly. Sitting by the pool every day is amazing and the beach is beautiful
Hilton Honors Hilton Grand Vacations Hilton has not made my first time here any reason for me to make another trip here... I express my issues with the Front Office Manager Jeanie that's on Duty and she only offered move me to another room which is inconvenience because I have not been able to enjoy the room I booked not to mention I'm now having to wait till check in at 4pm to get into the other room... I'm dirty from returning from atv riding along with hungry I'm unable to shower or grab food because of the condition my room is in.... @HiltonGrandVacations has truly destroyed my 40th Birthday experience 😢 😔
We enjoyed our recent stay at the Crane. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. The rooms were clean and extremely spacious. The service was suburb and the staff was friendly and helpful. The doorman Kadeem, was very helpful. He referred us to Ezra Quintyne, who became our personal driver during our week in Barbados. Ezra was professional, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a joyful vacation. He not only drove us to different places but also provided us facts and insight regarding Barbados. He was fantastic and I highly recommend Ezra for any tour or transportation needs.
Great place to stay. Perfect place to stay and relax without feeling like you have to go out to experience the island. Multiple restaurants of all styles, beautiful views and friendly staff. Special shout out to Adanna at Bar 1887 who remembered our drinks from the previous night and brought them out before we could even order them. That was the type of customer service we received the entire time we were there. Our room was great. I strongly recommend the ocean view. Nothing better than waking up to sunrise. We will definitely be back!
You would never guess this place originated in 1887. Obviously many buildings and pools are of newer vintage but the flow from historic to newer is seamless. Although the covid protocols are still very much in place with the mask monitoring and hand sanitizing stations being mandated, you can still find pool areas and restaurants much more relaxed once seated. Staff is extremely helpful and happy to be doing so with greater customer service attitude. Only drawback and obviously nothing within the staff’s control is the beach coverage of dead seaweed. While this severely limits the use of most of the sand area the chairs and umbrellas are still available. However it does take some getting use to the smell. All in all a great relaxing vacation.
