Super friendly hosts. Very helpful in organising some activities (horse trekking recommended). Particularly enjoyed hanging out playing dominos and enjoying a mojito with Juanito. Rooms clean and functional, and breakfast was a great way to set up the day. Would definitely recommend a stay.

We stayed in great places in Cuba, apart from El Mojito in Vignales. Back yard where our room was located was full of empty broken beer bottles and disused paint tins, plus uneaten food - a health hazard. The senor was not interested in us once we did not wish organise our horse-riding through him. The senora was delightful and... More

Fantastic location, close to mountains and village. Accommodation very clean but basic. Food wonderful - especially the shrimp stew (see photo). Lots of fruit and vegetables picked fresh from the garden every day. Hosts very friendly and helpful with extensive knowledge of the area.

We were driving down the street looking for a room and saw Juanito on his porch. He smiled and said he had a room. he led us in and from that point on we felt like we were home. Juanito and Dita were INCREDIBLY hospitible. the food was great. the mojitos top notch. Dominos were a blast. The mini fridge... More

We stayed for two nights in November last year and still remember the fantastic hospitality received from the owners Juanito and Dita. They are brilliant hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious, plentiful and as good as any restaurant so don't bother going out and the mojitos as good as all the other reviews say. I... More

Juanito was so helpful and accommodating, which made it a fantastic and fun place to be. He was welcoming to everyone coming in and was easy to communicate with, even though we didn't speak much Spanish. He showed us how to make great mojitos whilst playing dominos and made for one of the highlights of our time in Cuba. Such... More

A great place to stay for a few days, just sit on the porch, enjoy the sunset and drink mojitos which are not only the cheapest we got in Cuba (1,5 CUC), but also prepared by the owner (who is an ex-barman from Cueva India), who can also teach you how to make a proper one. Owner are really friendly,... More

We stayed in Juanito's casa for 3 nights and had so much fun! Juanito organised for us a horse riding trip in the valley of vinales, he entertained us each night with mojitos, cigars and domino, we enjoyed Tita's amazing dishes and the tranquility of the place. We stayed at 5 different casas in Cuba, and this was far the... More

My friends and I bike road to Vinales from Havana and were SO happy we found El Mojito. My friend recommended this casa to me before I left, and I couldn't thank him more when I returned home. WONDERFUL family, comfy beds, and the best pallella I've had in a long time. Upon arrival we were shown their little roof... More

One of the best places we stayed during our 3 1/2 weeks in Cuba. Juanito and his family were amazing with organising, entertaining and generally just taking care of me and my friends. During our stay we had 2 meals and breakfast everyday which I highly recommend!
